By the time you are reading this it will be here. I am just hoping for some warm weather. I can hardly wait to get my hands dirty planting my garden. Don t forget, I share my vegetables! As we plan for the next quarter we are so proud to be able to tell you that the Friday Clinics and the Birthday Club, both new items, are going so well. Lots of interest. We thank you. We are going into this quarter knowing we are adding new teachers for you and also some Saturday classes for both Beginning Sewing and Quilting. Also, we are adding an additional Fabric Sale Day each month. Be sure to check the calendar. We are proud to introduce Paige Alexander, a Modern Quilter, who has a great new book Modern Plus Sign Quilts., published by C & T Publishing. She will be offering her talents to our customers. We have Evy Hawkins, Babylock Ambassador, hosting a Sashisko Event June 26th. Sign up early as Evy always draws a crowd. Also in April, the 27th, we are having a IQ Designer event. It will be a lecture demo and a hands on event. The machines highlighted are the Destiny and The Valiant. We accept: Join us May 3 for our Mother s Day Adopt a Destiny Event. 2 In June we have a great Event planned for you, June 7, 8,& 9th. Sue Green-Baker will be hosting a Babylock Serger Workbook Event. Again, the serger classes always fill up fast so sign up as early as you can. We are adding another 25% off full yard cuts QUILTING FABRIC SALE day each month. It will be the last Thursday of each month. Our Embroidery Clubs and Embroidery Extra are remaining the same time schedule and we will be showing you more of the embroidery software techniques during the class too. We are members of Pickle Pie s Hoop Envy Club which means we are able to offer good prices and lots of fun techniques. With the closing of Pieces and Patches, in Lexington, we have extended out invitations for meeting places. If you are interested in meeting information call the store and we will direct you to the leader of the groups. Those of you who have been following Creative Sewing awhile know that every year in August, Babylock has an awards dinner in St. Louis and we find out where we ended in December of the last year. We started in business in 2001 and have been in the top 10 retailers every year since we ended the year being #3 Retailer-single dwelling. We are still in the Top 10 Dealers in And in 2012 we were the #1 Retailer. That is completely from the support you give us and we can never say THANK YOU loud enough or often enough. We will demonstrate how to baste in the hoop for hard-to-hoop items, placement of designs, how to stitch out an applique design, and the threads and needles that work best. All class fees must be paid at time of signing up for the class. It is disappointing to all when we have to cancel a class, or when the class you want to participate in has already been filled. To receive a refund for a class you have registered for, you must cancel at least one week before the first class. No refund will be given for late cancellation or no show.
