Sewapalooza is a sewing festival in which sewing enthusiasts will gather to sew, have fun, learn and be inspired. BERNINA Event team presenter Lorraine Wilkins will lead participants as they create take home projects. She will bring samples of many items to inspire your creative juices. This all day event will allow participants to create hands on projects featuring features of BERNINA machines and different sewing techniques. All participants will receive a goody bag. Everything is provided - machines, fabric, notions, lunch, refreshments and FUN! Anita Goodesign Embroidery Workshops Friday, November 7 or Saturday, November 8 Times: 9:30 to 11:30 am or 1:30 to 3:30 pm each day More info to follow Use our embroidery machines and have a fun time with these Anita Goodesign projects. Reserve your spot for Santa's Workshop (It was so much fun last year!!!) Saturday, November 22 Time: 10:00 to 4:00 Cost: $75 Teachers: Santa's Elves The Elves had so much fun last year at the Santa's Workshop they can't wait to host it again! You will do three hands on projects to help you get ready for the holidays. The Elves will provide the kits, snacks, lunch and a special gift for you. This will be a hands-on class that will cover all the basics of materials and stitches. She will show you how to prepare your fabric and teach you about tools and techniques to perfect your wool appliqué skills. MACHINE EMBROIDERY Cozy Kit Mesh Pouches (In the Hoop Project) Friday, September 19 Time: 2:00 to 5:00 pm, plus pattern Teacher: Phyllis Van Etten The lower front of this pouch is a mesh that is made in an embroidery hoop. Pouches can be made in small, medium, and large sizes.

We will show you all our favorite tools of the trade, how to prepare your fabric and stitches for hand appliqué.

Bertie's Winter Coming Soon(waiting for the fabric) Time and cost to be determined Bonnie from All Through the Night designed a four month BOM featuring her Bertie. These Bertie's will surely warm your heart in the cold of winter. The finished project will be 28" by 34". Each pattern has an additional bonus project I'm sure you will want to make.

8 BERNINA EDUCATION Bernina Mastery Classes The first through fourth Thursday of each month 9:30-12:30 pm Cost: Free if your Bernina was purchased at Sew Many Quilts. If purchased at another store - $30.00 per class Instructor: Brenda Sheppard Machine Mastery Classes will make you more proficient with your sewing machine, as well as introduce you to more of the functions that your sewing machine has to offer. You will also learn about presser feet and different accessories that Bernina has. First Thursday: Machine Basics You will gain information about needles and threads, cleaning and oiling your machine, the functions on your machine and how to use them. Second Thursday:Feet and Accessories You will learn about the presser feet& accessories that came with you machine, how to use them, and about other presser feet that are available from Bernina. Third Thursday: Computerized Machines You will learn some of the unique features of your computerized machine and how to use them. Fourth Thursday:Embroidery Machines Only If your machine includes embroidery you will learn about threads, stabilizers, hooping, and how to stitch out a design.
