2 Step 1: Glue the pattens (Page 5/7) togethe alongthe oken line. Now tansfe the plan on to the plywood sheet (1). Mak out and dill the 3mm holes in the pats f,g,h,i and 1,5mm dia in pat a. Saw out all the pats with a fetsaw. Sand all the edges to finish. c a f g i h j k d e Step 2: Take the wooden stips (4+5) and cut them to length ( See patten on page 9) sand the ends. Pat o must e cut at as shown! l m n o,00 p,00 Step 3:,00,00 Tansfe the patten fo the pats (/q) (Seite 9) on to the modelling plywood (3) Saw out all the pats with a fetsaw and sand them to finish. q Step 4: Take the two styodu pats (2) and glue them in place to the undesneath of the deck as shown (pat a). Leave them to dy well. Its est to place a weight on top duing this pocess. Shape the edges of the styodu floats with a file and then dand to finish. Continue the hole in the deck (a) ca. 7-mm deep into the Styodu. Step 5: The pats e+d ae glued undeneath pat n as shown. Leave to dy. The pat n must e shaped with aound file until it fits pats e+d Mount and glue the finished pats on the cut on the deck a as shown. 2 ound off Gea side n 2 e 40 d a ound off 2 Cut out ca. 7-mm deep in the styodu 2 E1130#1

3 Step 6: Fom the aluminium wie cut off a 65-70mm long piece and end this with ound nose plies into the cank shape accoding to the patten ( See elow). Use a metal woking saw to shoten the axle on the left side of the moto to 5mm long and the ight hand side to mm long ( See diagam ) Please note: Do not mix the sides up! Bending patten Cank Schitt 7: Using the plans (See page 5) mak out and saw the 6 slots 1,5x5mm at an angle of 60 in the gea (9) Finally inset the paddles () in the slots and glue them in place. Leave the glue to dy well 9 5 Schitt : Mount the gea complete with paddles on the geaox axle ( mm) Slide it on until 10mm of the axle potudes.take the connecto lock (10mm) and the connecto lock (12) with a scew (10). and fix with a second scew.(10). Glue the slide switch (13) on the ack of the geaox as shown Schitt 9: Mount the geaox with fou scews (11), leave a gap of 4mm to the ouside edge See plans on page 5. Check that the gea (9) in the middle of the opening in the deck so that it can move feely, if not adjust the gea on the shaft Step 11: Glue the pat, pat e and pat c with pat m as shown. Note: Do not mix up left and ight Use a file to ound it off until pat (/c) fits. Then glue the pat flush with the outside of the hole in the deck as shown. Step 11: Take the pats g+h and f+i and scew them in togethe lightly as shown, use scew(11) so that they can move. Note: do not mix up left and ight Fix the legs in place with scew 11 on the ody(o) using the maks shown. At the same time scew (11) Glue the ams j+k and the head () on the ody. Glue the figue on the deck, so that the legs (h,1 ) connect to the cank The gea and paddles shoul otate 360 degees. Note: Leave to dy well l c f i h g l m c m l i j f o h k g 3

4 Step 12: File pat p to shape as shown and glue it at the ack in the middle Take a ca. 50mm long piece of aluminium and glue in place, as in the diagam with pat q, use hot glue gun. Glue the connecto lock (12) to the undeneath of pat. Finally scew (10) the udde with 2 scews (10) in the connecto lock! p q Step 13: Cut two ca. 5mm long pieces fom the aluminium wie. Bend these to the shape of the patten ( see elow). Inset the ailings in the holes as shown. The ed cale is connected to the middle of the switch (13) The lack cale fom the attey holde (14) is connected to the top ta on the geaox moto (6) Take a ca mm long piece of cale () stip the ends and tin. Solde one end on the lowe connection of the geaox moto (6). The othe end is connected to an oute ta on the switch (13). Finished. Fit two atteies in the holde ( AA cells ). Place to oat in wate and switch on. The paddles on the geawheel should dive the oat fowads. Adjusting the udde will dive it in cicles 4 E1130#1
