When attaching the MW00, eplace the cuent base block CKET with the CKET that came with the MW00. emove the base block backet ttach the backet that came with the MW00 acket When attaching the MX00, if using a conventional vesion of the main module, emove the base block CKET. If the main module has been ewoked, use the existing base block as-is. See MX00/MW00: Handling of the ase lock (Model MX0- ) in IM MX00-.. 2 . Installation Pocedue of Modules. lign the connecto on the ea panel of the module to the connecto at the desied position of the base plate and inset the connecto. When the connectos ae coectly connected, the guide pin on the ea panel of the module is inseted into the guide hole on the base plate. Then, the module is secued to the base plate with the latch leve locking in place at the bottom section of the base plate. Note that the main module can only be attached to the ight end of the base plate.. Fo the MX00 main module, attach using a scew (M) at the top of the module. Fo the MW00 main module, attach using scews (M) in two locations at the top of the module. Installation Pocedue of the MX00/MW00 The MX00/MW00 Data cquisition Unit can be used on a desktop, on a floo, in a ack mount, o in a panel mount. In all cases, be sue to install the instument in a vetical position. Scew Teminal lock You can connect a 0-channel scew teminal block (accessoy sold sepaately, M scews) that can be attached to a DIN ail (see the figue below) to the 0-CH, Medium-Speed Univesal Input Module, 0-CH, Pulse Input Module, and 0-CH, High-Speed Digital Input Module (-D0, D). To do so, emove the teminal plate fom the module (not necessay fo the /NS option since it has no teminal plate). Loosen the teminal cove attachment scew, then flip up the teminal cove in the diection of the aow as shown in the figue.. Loosen the teminal block scew, then emove the teminal block.. ttach the scew teminal plate o the plate with clamp teminals fo cuent, and fasten with scews.. ttach the teminal cove that came with the plate with scew teminals o plate with clamp teminals fo cuent. Wiing Pocedue -CH, High-Speed Univesal Input Module. Tun the powe to the MX00/MW00. ttachment scew fo teminal cove. Loosen the teminal cove attachment scew and lift up the teminal cove.. Connect the signal wies to the teminals. Teminal cove. etun the teminal cove to the oiginal position and secue it with the scew. The appopiate scew tightening toque is 0. N m. When the plate with scew teminal (model 00) is connected to the 0-CH, Medium-Speed Univesal Input Module, the teminal aangement diffes fom that of clamp teminals, so wie accoding to the makings on the teminal cove. 10 . Connecting the Powe Supply When wiing the powe supply, obseve the pecautions given in the MX00/MW00 Use s Manual. Use a powe supply that meets the following conditions: MX00 main module ated supply voltage: C powe supply, 00 to 0 VCms DC powe supply, to VDC Supply voltage ange used: C powe supply, 0 to, 0 to VC DC powe supply, 0 to VDC ated supply voltage fequency: 0/0 Hz llowable line fequency ange: 0/0 Hz ± % Maximum powe consumption: Up to appoximately 0 V maximum when six modules ae used Connection Pocedue Using the Powe Cod (When the Suffix Code of the Powe Cod Is D etc.). Check that the powe switch of the main module is.. Connect the powe cod plug to the powe connecto of the MX00/MW00 Data cquisition Unit. (Use the powe cod that came with the package.). Connect the plug on the othe end of the powe cod to the outlet that meets the conditions above. Check that the powe supply and the powe switch of the main module is.. Loosen the scew fixing the powe supply teminal cove of the main module in place and open the powe supply teminal cove.. Connect the powe cod and the potective gound cod to the powe supply teminals accoding to the figue below. Use ound cimp-on lugs with isolation sleeves (fo mm scews) fo the powe cod and potective gound cod teminals.. Close the powe supply teminal cove and secue it with the scew. Wie the powe supply cod and potective gound cod to the powe supply teminals accoding to the figue below. Use ound cimp-on lugs (fo a -mm scew) with insulating sleeves fo the teminals.. Close the powe supply teminal cove and secue it with the scew. 11 . Connecting to the Ethenet Inteface Connect the Ethenet cable to the Ethenet pot of the main module. Use a UTP cable (categoy o bette) o an STP cable fo the Ethenet cable. Checking the Communication Status You can check the status on the two LEDs at the uppe-ight and lowe-ight of the Ethenet pot. J- modula jack Ethenet cable Ethenet pot ETHENET 0SE - T 00SE - TX LINK LED Illuminates in oange when the link between the MX00/MW00 and the connected device is established and communication is mutually possible. CT LED links geen when tansmitting/eceiving packets. Inseting and Ejecting the CF Cad Inseting the CF Cad To inset the CF cad into the cad slot, open the slot cove and face the cad's font side to the ight. Ejecting the CF Cad e sue to check that the CF cad is not being access befoe ejecting the cad fom the slot. When the CF cad is being accessed, the -segment LED indicates that pocessing is taking place. Fo the MX00, to eject the CF cad, open the slot cove while touching the metal fo dischaging the static electicity, pess the access stop switch, and pess the eject leve once. Then, pess the eject leve that came out once again, and emove the CF cad fom the slot. Note Do not close the slot cove by foce while the eject leve is pulled out. Doing so can damage the cad slot. When not using the eject leve, push the leve in so that the slot cove can close. To eject the CF cad, fist open the slot cove while touching the anti-static metal, then push the eject leve once. Next, push the eject leve (which is pulled out) again, and pull out the CF cad. While the self-test is in pogess, the following displays ae epeated. Unit Confimation Display The figue below shows the display that appeas when you confim the MX00 Data cquisition Unit that is connected using the MX00 Standad Softwae, MXLOGGE (softwae sold sepaately), o MW IP Config Softwae. The wod -- CLL-- flows though the display fom ight to left.
