16 Key Issues The measured geometric accuracy follows our expectations: Using a digital model with 20m of GSD and planning acquisitions with an incidence within (good trade-off also for lay-over and shadow distortions reduction) an accuracy of 2-3m was measured Encouraging results came from parcels measurement assessment. Good accuracy (especially for flat areas) was measured. Multitemporal analysis enhanced the features recognition but, due to multilook (necessary to compute the interferometric coherence map), the reduction of GSD seems to slightly make the accuracy worse Very good thematic mapping capabilities showed by Coherent Multitemporal products. 17 Conclusions As a final goal, the ongoing activity is focused on the possibility of introducing this system into the management and control chain of CwRS Starting from the CwRS requirements coming from EU and taking care of the next agreement with ASI (the Italian Space Agency), AGEA is carrying out added values on agro-environment analysis through COSMO-SkyMed VHR SAR data Preliminary work results were already showed to GeoCAP unit of JRC who demonstrated its interest in continuing the experimentation with COSMO data On September 09 JRC and AGEA signed an agreement in order to establish a stable way to exchange know-how also on such issues Taormina Palazzo dei Congressi 19 Novembre
