1 [Visiting Associate Professor Management Entrepreneurship and Family Business] Xiaowei (Rose) LUO Visiting Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Business Ph.D., Stanford University Research areas: Institutional theories, institutional change, organizational response to multiple institutional pressures and logics, family business, corporate governance, strategic alliances and business groups, corporate social responsibilities, emerging markets, corporate innovation, cross-cultural variation in organizational practices, employee training and development Introduction Dr. Xiaowei (Rose) Luo received her Ph.D. degree in Sociology at Stanford University in She also owns an M.A. degree in Sociology at Syracuse University, as well as a B.A. degree in English and American Literature & Linguistics at Fudan University (with honors). Dr. Luo attended the Graduate Program in World Economy at Fudan University from 1993 to Dr. Luo now serves as Visiting Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Business at CKGSB, and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Business (with tenure) at INSEAD. She is a faculty member of Wendel International Centre for Family Enterprise at INSEAD. Dr. Luo was also an Associate Professor of Organization Theory (with tenure) at Department of Business Administration (and courtesy appointment in Dept. of Sociology), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
