7 Assembly of the Steel Framing Profile Dimple 10 Fully automated in Design and Manufacture this application, helps to align and hold the joint ready for fixing, using a screw or rivet, this quick snap fixture helping to reduce the time taken for assembly. One of the other unique features of the dimple is to rebate the head of the screw or rivet below the surface of the profile Shown above is a Wafer Tek Screw commonly used in the fit up of the profiles shown. This is achieved by having leg (A) longer than leg (B) giving us a box section profile.
