Using a smaller panel of dot patterned paper, round the corners and adhere to the centre of the card. Add coloured thread through the holes in the circle tags and stick to the card using double-sided tape on the tags at the back and 3D foam pads and tags at the front. Add a heart to the centre of each circle 2 and punch a tiny hole above each one. Pull the thread through, and adhere to the inside of the card to complete. Taking two pieces of 2cm square card, cover one with yellow/white stripe patterned paper. Secure HAPPY acetate to the striped paper using double-sided tape along the top edge. Using a strip of pink patterned paper, trim the bottom edge with scalloped edged scissors. Adhere this to the top of the card to conceal the top of the acetate. 2 Crafts Tip Tie the twine on the back of the card, adding an additional length to the front to tie into a bow Punch out 3 circles from coloured paper and stick to the striped paper. Take a strip of green patterned paper and trim the top edge with scalloped edged scissors. Adhere to the bottom edge of the card and tie pink/white twine around the top of the card to complete. New Baby Trim white card to, 5cm x 28cm. Holding the card in a landscape position, score vertical lines at, 5cm, 2cm and 9cm. Fold into position and secure the middle 7cm panels together using double-sided tape. Cover the first and third panel with green heart patterned 2 paper, and add yellow striped paper to the middle panel. Cut out a strip of pink patterned paper and punch three equally spaced circles out down the centre. Round the corners and stick to the front panel using 3D foam pads. Attach a heart to each aperture on the front panel to 3 spell out the word NEW. Punch out four circles from different coloured card, and stick down the right edge of the middle panel. 3 Cards & Paper Hi Envelopes Cover the bottom two thirds of an A6 blank with floral patterned paper. Add light green patterned paper to the remaining section at the top. Adhere blue/black ribbon across the join in papers, making sure to secure the ends on the inside of the card. Punch two small square 2 envelopes from doublesided patterned paper and secure folds in place. Die-cut two small circles and secure inside the envelopes. Add heart letters and to finish secure envelopes onto the card. Using a paper collection always helps with the creative process it s amazing how many cards you can make from one paper pack Tracey Daykin-Jones, Designer Celebrate Cut out two 2cm squares from card, cover one piece with dark pink patterned paper, then put to one side. From patterned paper, cut out a 9.5cm square. Round off the corners and layer on to dark pink card. Stick this to the centre of the pink patterned paper. Die-cut 9 small circles from blue, 2 green and dark pink card. Adhere to the card, using 3D foam pads. Add letter stickers to spell the word CELEBRATE. Attach the remaining piece of card to the back to create a top folding design to finish. 4 Bonjour Lunchtime make L amour is in the air with this set of chic Parisian-themed cards Fix a length of lace across rose paper, 0cm x 4cm, then wrap white satin ribbon over it and secure the ends at the back. Die-cut a scalloped circle from dark pink patterned paper and attach it to the front using foam pads, so the base is partially covering the lace trim. Die-cut a girl and an Eiffel Tower from white. 2Stamp the corresponding images into the motifs, then colour in using alcohol pens. Secure to the front using foam pads, adding an extra layer to the girl. Add a bow with a pearl heart to the left of the card. Create a Bonjour sentiment and stick to the right under the ribbon. 5 Balloon wishes Make a card that s popping with colour using Kitty Frampton s how-to Start with... b Card, white b Watercolour paper b Dies, My Favorite Things, Die-namics, Birthday Wishes Balloons; Wonky Stitched Rectangle b Stamps, My Favorite Things, Birthday Wishes Balloons b Ink-pads, Distress Inks, various colours b Acetate b Heat gun See our shopping list below Crafts Tip Make brighter shades with the same ink-pads by using less water and more colour Spray watercolour paper, 3cm x 6cm, with a water mister. Cut acetate slightly larger than the panel. Apply ink-pads directly onto it and spray with the mister to create large ink pools. Place the inked acetate 2 face down onto the stamping card. Rub the back of it with your fingertips to blend the colours together. Lift the acetate off, blot with kitchen roll, then dry using a heat gun. Repeat until you are happy with the design. Splatter inks onto the 3 panel using the tip of a paintbrush. Die-cut the completed background using the largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle. Die-cut balloons from white and stamp the co-ordinating shapes onto each. Stamp balloon strings and sentiment onto the background. Matt the panel onto lilac 4card, 0.5cm x 3.8cm. Attach a length of lilac ribbon along the bottom and across the top-right corner. Adhere the balloons over the stamped strings using foam pads. 5 Make a bow, add a pearl heart to the centre and stick it in the bottom-left corner. Fix pearls over the ribbons. Arrange and stick assorted stamped shapes and place onto the card as shown. How to make... A LAYERED CARD Adhere a piece of twine 3 across the top of the card. Snip out tiny.5cm triangles and arrange them over the twine to create a bunting effect. Affix in place with 3-D foam pads. Stamp a have a sweet 4birthday sentiment onto a cm x 3cm strip of white cardstock. Fold the edges over to create a banner shape and add to the tablecloth to finish. Happy Birthday Create a white blank measuring.5cm x 6cm. Trim out various lengths of paper in different patterns, as shown. Start at the bottom and form a V shape with two strips with a 2mm gap between them. Start to add more pieces 2 with various patterns and stack in a patchwork pattern to create a design. Stamp a happy birthday 3 sentiment in black ink along the bottom of each edge, repeating it with equal spacing to complete. 11 Make me QUICK HOGS & KISSES Cover the front of a card blank with turquoise. Die-cut a large stitched rectangle from white, mount onto pink and adhere to the front. Stamp stripes onto a white strip and fix to the left. 2Print a dotted pattern onto a turquoise strip and a sentiment to a larger pink one, cut fish tails in the ends of both, then secure so they overlap. Tie a bow from twine and stick onto the sentiment strip. Stamp, colour and cut out a pig, then attach to the card using foam pads. Add a touch of glitter to the balloon and allow to dry. Decorate the corners of the card using pink gems. PARTY ANIMALS Create a card blank, 3.5cm square. Stick lime and turquoise panels over this section, then mount a stitched square to the front. Stamp a strip of card and glue in place at the bottom. Next, print and colour four animals, then cut them out. 2Arrange and attach the animals to the card using foam pads. Stamp a sentiment onto white card and cut fishtails into both ends, then glue above the motifs. Stick sequins onto the background and leave to dry. CUPCAKE GOAT Die-cut a stitched lime square. Stamp stripes onto white card, mount onto turquoise, then stick to the lime. Glue the panel to a blank. Die-cut a lime scallop border and attach to the card. Stick a white circle to a scalloped turquoise one, then fix to the centre using foam pads. 2Stamp and colour a goat motif. Trim around the image and attach to the circle using foam pads. Press a sentiment onto a strip of white and fix to the card. Decorate the background with sequins to finish. CB BEST WISHES Die-cut a stitched rectangle and glue to a white card blank. then cover with pink and turquoise. Draw a black border around the turquoise piece. Cut and stamp two pink strips, then trim fish tails into one end of each and fix to the left of the card. 2Die-cut a white frame and stamp a sentiment. Draw around the square, then add two grey pearls. Wrap twine around the end and tie into a bow. Stamp diagonal stripes onto white card, then trim and glue behind the frame centre. Attach to the front using foam pads. Stamp and colour a cow image. Cut out and fix to the middle. Add three pink pearls to the right corner. 13 Make me QUICK HAPPILY EVER AFTER Stamp various butterflies around the bottom-left of a white card rectangle using red, pink, olive and turquoise inks. Press a larger black butterfly between the others, then colour the wings using the same inks as before. 2Die-cut a large butterfly from white, then stamp on its matching motif. Leave to dry. Mount the panel onto turquoise, pink then olive card and adhere to a top-folding blank. On a separate piece of card, stamp an olive greeting and attach to the front using foam pads. Secure three gems to the top-right. BUTTERFLY SQUARE Fix a square of turquoise card onto a slightly larger blank. Attach a strip of pink to the middle. Emboss a white square using a lattice board and mount onto olive and red card, then fix to the front using foam pads. 2Die-cut nine plain butterflies from white, then three smaller ones from pink, olive and turquoise. Fold the wings and assemble together. Secure the motifs into place using foam pads, then adhere gems to the middles. RIBBON HEART Emboss a lattice print onto a square of white card, then mount onto olive, turquoise, pink and red. Attach red ribbon to the bottom, then tie a bow and secure to the bottom-left. Glue the panel to a square blank. 2Cut a large white heart. Punch out butterflies in various sizes and colours, bend the wings, then scatter and fix to the heart. Die-cut two white scallop borders and glue behind the long sides of the aqua, then stick the section to a magenta panel, 0cm x 3.5cm. Adhere this to a top-folding blank. Die-cut a white circle, then stamp and colour 2 one pink and one blue flower, three green leaves and black decorative elements onto it. Stamp and shade two flowers identical to the last ones on a separate piece of card, then cut out and use foam pads to fix over their matching blooms on the circle. Mount gingham, cm x 2cm, onto white and glue to the middle of the card. Stick a section of striped paper onto card, then fix a length of pink ribbon around the middle before adhering the panel to the front.
