1 Gorgeous Grunge Card Set Designed By: Amanda Corbet September 2013 Have you been wondering how you can use the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set? Not sure what exactly to do with it? Well then this project is for you! This fun grungy box includes five different card designs and five envelopes all using the Gorgeous Grunge and Chalk Talk stamp sets! It s time to put your Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to use to make this bright and fun cards and box set!

2 Instructions: Step 1 Cut one 7-1/2 x 9 piece of Island Indigo card stock. Stamp the splatter image from Gorgeous Grunge all over the card stock on both sides in Island Indigo ink. Step 2 Use your Stampin Trimmer with the scoring blade to score as shown below. Use Paper Snips to cut on the lines indicated in red. Apply Sticky Strip in the locations indicated with the blue lines. Flip the card stock over to the other side and apply Sticky Strip in the locations indicated with the green lines. Fold on all the score lines. 3/4 1-1/2 7-1/2 8-1/4 3/4 1-1/ /4 Step 3 Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the small corner tabs and adhere them to the inside of the adjacent side flap (Step 3a). Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the remaining flaps and adhere them to the inside of the box sides (Step 3b).

3 Step 3a Step 3b Step 4 Cut two 6-1/8 x 6 pieces of Coastal Cabana card stock. With a 6-1/8 side against the top of your Stampin Trimmer score at 3/4. Rotate the card stock 180 degrees and score at 3/4. Repeat on the other Coastal Cabana card stock. Step 5 Stamp the angled lines image from Gorgeous Grunge onto the 3/4 wide sides of one piece of Step 4 in Coastal Cabana ink. This will be your box sleeve top. Place the card stock so the stamped side is against the table and apply Sticky Strip right against each 6 long outside edge on the 3/4 wide flaps. Step 6 Take the remaining piece from Step 4. This will be your box sleeve bottom. Apply Sticky Strip along both edges just like you did in Step 5. Fold the flaps so the Sticky Strip is on the outside. Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the flaps on the box sleeve and adhere the stamped flap completely over the top of the flap on the box sleeve bottom. Repeat to adhere the other side of the box sleeve. Now the box you made in Step 3 can slide inside the sleeve you just finished.

4 Step 6 Step 7 Cut one 4-1/8 x 5-1/2 piece Island Indigo card stock. Cut one 4 x 5-3/8 piece Smoky Slate card stock. Cut one 3-3/4 x 5-1/8 piece Whisper White card stock. Stamp the Gorgeous Grunge images onto the Whisper White card stock in Smoky Slate, Island Indigo, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Strawberry Slush ink as shown below. Adhere all the layers together as shown with Anywhere Glue Stick. Adhere this layer onto your box sleeve front with Stampin Dimensionals. Step 7 Step 8 Use the large tag Framelit from the Chalk Talk Framelits in your Big Shot with a scrap of Smoky Slate card stock to cut out a tag. Stamp the sketchy line image from Gorgeous Grunge several times across the tag horizontally in VersaMark ink. Cover the stamped image with White embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat it with your Heat Tool. Now use a Stamping Sponge with Smoky Slate ink to sponge around the edges. Step 9 Stamp the smaller filigree tag image from Chalk Talk onto a scrap of Basic Black card stock in VersaMark ink. Cover the stamped image with White embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat it with your Heat Tool. Cut out the tag with the Chalk Talk Framelits in the Big Shot. Now stamp the for you from Chalk Talk onto a scrap of Strawberry Slush card stock in Strawberry Slush ink. Punch out the greeting with the 1-3/8 Circle punch. Add a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel onto the greeting then adhere all the labels together with Stampin Dimensionals. Adhere the label onto the box front with Stampin Dimensionals.

5 Step 9 Step 10 Card 1: Cut one 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece of Island Indigo card stock. Cut one 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 piece of Coastal Cabana card stock. Cut one 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Whisper White card stock. Take the Island Indigo card stock. With the 8-1/2 side against the top of your Stampin Trimmer score at 4-1/4. Fold on the score line. Step 11 Take the Whisper White card stock from Step 10 and stamp the sketchy lines onto the right side of the card stock in Island Indigo, Coastal Cabana, and Daffodil Delight ink. Stamp the tiny spots onto the left side of the card stock in Smoky Slate ink. Adhere this layer onto the Coastal Cabana card stock with Anywhere Glue Stick. Adhere this layer onto the card front with Stampin Dimensionals. Step 11 Step 12 Stamp the I m so grateful there s you in the world greeting from Chalk Talk onto a scrap of Basic Black card stock in VersaMark ink. Cover the stamped image with White embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat with your Heat Tool. Punch out the image with the XL Oval punch. Cut an 18 piece of Coastal Cabana 3/8 Ruffle Stretch Trim, wraps it around the card front, and tie it into a bow. Use Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the greeting oval onto the card front. Add three Rhinestone Basic Jewels next to the greeting oval. Card 1 is finished.

6 Step 12 Step 13 Card 2: Cut one 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece Island Indigo card stock. Cut one 1 x 4-1/4 piece Whisper White card stock. Cut one 1-1/8 x 4-1/4 piece Coastal Cabana card stock. Cut one 5-1/2 piece Strawberry Slush 3/8 Ruffle Stretch Trim. Take the Island Indigo card stock. With the 8-1/2 side against the top of your Stampin Trimmer score at 4-1/4. Fold on the score line. Step 14 Use the large splatter image from Gorgeous Grunge to stamp onto the card front several times in Smoky Slate ink (Step 14a). Now stamp the image several more times in Island Indigo ink just below the Smoky Slate images (Step 14b). Stamp the angled lines onto the card stock twice in VersaMark ink. Cover the stamped image with White embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat it with your Heat Tool. Step 14a Step 14b Step 15 Take the smaller splatter image and stamp onto the top portion of your Whisper White card stock strip with Coastal Cabana ink. To get the different intensities of color ink up your stamp then stamp the image twice onto the card stock before inking it up again. Only go about half way down the strip with your splotches. Now stamp the I can t thank you enough image from Chalk Talk onto the bottom of the Whisper White card stock strip in Strawberry Slush ink. Adhere this onto the Coastal Cabana card stock with Anywhere Glue Stick. Flip the card stock over and apply Sticky Strip along the edge of the card stock (Step 15a). Remove the Sticky Strip liner and place just the elastic portion of the ribbon onto the Sticky Strip leaving the ruffled portion visible from the other

7 side (Step 15b). Use Paper Snips to trim the ribbon even with the ends of the card stock. Adhere this layer onto the card front with Stampin Dimensionals (Step 15c). Add several Rhinestone Basic Jewels onto the card front. Card 2 is finished. Step 15a Step 15b Step 15c Step 16 Card 3: Cut one 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece Smoky Slate card stock. Cut one 5/8 x 4-1/4 piece Basic Black card stock. Cut one 1/2 x 4-1/4 piece Coastal Cabana card stock. Cut one 1/8 x 4-1/4 piece Silver Glimmer Paper. Cut one 18 long piece Coastal Cabana 3/8 Ruffle Stretch Trim. Take the Smoky Slate card stock. With the 8-1/2 side against the top of your Stampin Trimmer score at 4-1/4. Fold on the score line. Step 17 Stamp the larger splatter image from Gorgeous Grunge down the center of the card front in Smoky Slate ink. Now stamp the angled lines image several times down the center of the card front in VersaMark ink making sure to stagger the ends. Now cover the stamped image with White embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat it with your Heat Tool.

8 Step 17 Step 18 Use Anywhere Glue Stick to adhere the Silver Glimmer Paper to the Coastal Cabana card stock strip. Then adhere this onto the Basic Black strip, and then adhere it onto the left side of the card front (Step 18). Wrap the Coastal Cabana 3/8 Ruffle Stretch Trim around the card front and tie it into a bow. Step 18 Step 19 Stamp the large tag image from Chalk Talk onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock in Jet Black StazOn ink. Use the Chalk Talk Framelits and the Big Shot to cut out the shape. Then sponge around the outside of the tag with Coastal Cabana ink and a Stamping Sponge. Now stamp the tag image again onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock in Strawberry Slush ink. Use Paper Snips to cut out the banner in the Strawberry Slush image. Add a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel onto each end of the banner and adhere this onto the tag with Stampin Dimensionals. Add a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel onto the bottom of the tag. Adhere the tag onto the card front around the bow in the ribbon with Stampin Dimensionals. Card 3 is finished. Step 19

9 Step 20 Card 4: Cut one 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece Smoky Slate card stock. Cut one 3 x 3-1/4 piece Whisper White card stock. Cut two 1 x 2-1/4 pieces Island Indigo card stock. Cut one 2 x 3-1/4 piece Island Indigo card stock. Cut one 2-1/8 x 3-3/8 piece Coastal Cabana card stock. Cut one 1-3/4 x 5-1/2 piece Strawberry Slush card stock. Cut one 2 x 5-1/2 piece Whisper White card stock. Cut one 1/2 x 5-1/2 piece Silver Glimmer Paper. Take the Smoky Slate card stock. With the 8-1/2 side against the top of your Stampin Trimmer score at 4-1/4. Fold on the score line. Stamp the card front all over with the small spots image in Smoky Slate ink. Step 21 Stamp the sketchy lines image onto the Strawberry Slush card stock in Strawberry Slush ink. Adhere the Strawberry Slush card stock onto the Whisper White card stock with Anywhere Glue Stick. Adhere the Silver Glimmer Paper onto the Strawberry Slush card stock with Anywhere Glue Stick. Adhere this layer onto the card front with Anywhere Glue Stick. Step 22 Take the larger Whisper White card stock piece you cut in Step 20. Stamp the card stock with Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Strawberry Slush, and Smoky Slate ink as shown with the 3-1/4 edge at the top (Step 22a). Now put your card stock in your Stampin Trimmer and cut 3/4 off both of the 3 long sides (Step 22b). Now cut 1/2 off each end of the 3/4 wide strips (Step 22c). Use a Stamping Sponge to sponge around the edges of the card stock pieces with Smoky Slate ink. Step 22a Step 22b Step 22c

10 Step 23 Use a Stamping Sponge to sponge around the edges of the three Island Indigo card stock pieces in Island Indigo ink. Next sponge around the edges of the Coastal Cabana piece with Smoky Slate ink. Adhere the smaller stamped Whisper White pieces onto the smaller Island Indigo pieces with Anywhere Glue Stick. Adhere the larger stamped Whisper White piece onto the larger Island Indigo piece with Anywhere Glue Stick. Now adhere this layer onto the Coastal Cabana card stock with Anywhere Glue Stick (Step 23). Step 23 Step 24 Stamp the I can t thank you enough image onto the larger center panel from Step 23 with Jet Black StazOn ink. Adhere the three panels onto the card front with Stampin Dimensionals. Add a medium Rhinestone Basic Jewel onto the heart in the stamped image. Card 4 is finished. Step 24 Step 25 Cut one 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece Smoky Slate card stock. Cut one 4 x 5-1/4 piece Island Indigo card stock. Cut one 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece Whisper White card stock. Cut one 1 x 5-1/4 piece Coastal Cabana card stock. Cut one 24 piece Smoky Slate Chevron ribbon. Take the Smoky Slate card stock. With the 8-1/2 side against the top of your Stampin Trimmer score at 4-1/4 and fold on the score line.

11 Step 26 Take the Whisper White card stock from Step 25. Stamp the larger splatter image across the middle of the card stock with Coastal Cabana ink as follows: Ink up the stamp, stamp the image once, then without re-inking the stamp move the stamp higher and stamp it again. Repeat this process until you have stamped across the center of the card stock (Step 26a). Repeat this process to add a row of Island Indigo splatters just below the Coastal Cabana splatters. Now stamp a row of Smoky Slate splatters across the bottom of the card stock (Step 26b). Step 26a Step 26b Step 27 Adhere this stamped Whisper White card stock onto the Island Indigo card stock with Anywhere Glue Stick. Now adhere this onto the Smoky Slate card front with Anywhere Glue Stick (Step 27). Adhere the Coastal Cabana card stock strip across the card front with Anywhere Glue Stick. Wrap the Smoky Slate ¾ Chevron ribbon around the card front and tie it into a knot. Step 27 Step 28 Stamp the happy big day image from Chalk Talk onto a scrap of Coastal Cabana card stock in Island Indigo ink. Stamp the filigree label image from Chalk Talk onto a scrap of Daffodil Delight card stock in Daffodil Delight ink. Cut out both label shapes with the Chalk Talk framelits in the Big Shot. Adhere the labels together with Stampin Dimensionals. Adhere the labels onto the card front with Stampin Dimensionals. Add three Rhinestone Basic Jewels onto the greeting label. Card 5 is finished.

12 Step 29 Take five Whisper White Medium Envelopes. Stamp the lower left corner of the envelopes with Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo, and Smoky Slate as shown (Step 29a). Place your envelopes and cards into the box bottom from Step 3 and insert the box bottom into the box sleeve from Step 6. Cut one piece 26 Smoky Slate Chevron ribbon. Cut one piece 26 Strawberry Slush 3/8 Ruffle Stretch Trim. Stack the two ribbons together, wrap it around the box and tie the ribbon into a knot. Position the knot so it is on top of the top portion of the tag. Trim the ribbon ends with Paper Snips. Your project is now complete! Step 29a Step 29b
