1 Accordion Memory Keeper Gift Set Designed By: Gayle Smith September 2013 This project is a perfect gift for a friend or loved one. It consist of an Accordion Memory Keeper, where you can personalize with messages and/or add photos, four thank you note cards, and a one - of - a - kind flower pen. Accordion Memory Keeper Instructions Step 1 Trim a 12 x 12 sheet of chevron/diamond print Crushed Curry Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 12 x 9. Step 2 With 9 side across top of Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score at 6. Turn, placing 12 side along top of scoring board, and score at 3, 6, and 9.

2 Step 2a Step 2b Step 3 Using Scallop Edge Border punch, and with 9 edge at top, punch 12 edge that is to the right of the 6 score line. Fold as shown. Step 3a Step 3b Step 4 Using Sticky Strip, adhere ribbon to the front accordion panel. Only adhere to a small section in the center, do not extend to the edges of the accordion panel. Set accordion piece aside.

3 Step 4a Step 4b Step 5 Using Jet Black StazOn ink, stamp the floral image from the Backyard Basics stamp set onto one of the 2-1/4 x 5 Whisper White panels and a scrap piece of Whisper White. Color as shown using Blender Pen and ink pads. Use Backyard Basics Framelits to cut out floral image from the scrap piece. Step 5 Step 6 Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere stamped and colored flower panel on top of the 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 Midnight Muse panel. Add Stampin Dimensionals to back of die cut image. Adhere, off centered, to stamped and colored Whisper White panel. Step 6a Step 6b

4 Step 7 Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere the 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 Midnight Muse panel to front panel of accordion Memory Keeper, covering the ribbon. Using Midnight Muse ink pad, stamp Hello Lovely label image from the Hello, Lovely stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card stock. Punch with Decorative Label punch and adhere to lower front panel of Memory Keeper with Stampin Dimensionals. Add Dazzling Details to floral image were desired. Set aside to dry. Step 7 Step 8 Using the scraps of the Crushed Curry DSP, punch four pansy flowers. Fold each flower over the tops of the remaining four 2-1/4 x 5 Whisper White card stock panels. Fold two petals to the backside and three petals on the front. Adhere with SNAIL adhesive. From scraps, cut four strips of Midnight Muse card stock. Fold in half in somewhat of a V shape, then staple towards top center of pansy flower on each of the four Whisper White panels. Step 8 Step 9 Stamp the bee and the butterfly on scrap of Whisper White card stock. Color as shown with Blender Pen and ink pads. Cut out with matching Backyard Basics Framelits. Adhere to top of panel using Stampin Dimensionals. Add your pictures and/or journaling to panels.

5 Step 9 Step 10 Place one panel in each pocket of accordion Memory Keeper. Set aside Step 11 On the four 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 pieces of Whisper White card stock, stamp and color as shown. Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere each Whisper White panel to a 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 Midnight Muse card stock panel. Step 11a Step 11b Step 11c Step 11d

6 Step 12 Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere panels to bottom pocket of each accordion panel. Add Dazzling Details as desired. Project is complete. Step 12 Card #1 Instructions Note: You are making two of these cards. Repeat the following steps on each of the Note Cards. Step 1 On a Note Card, using Jet Black StazOn ink pad, stamp tulip image from the Backyard Basics stamp set, four to five times, at varying heights, across lower portion of card. Using Blender Pen and ink pads, color tulips. Set aside. Step 1a Step 1b Step 2 On a 3-1/2 x 1-1/4 Midnight Muse card stock, punch one 3-1/2 side with the Scallop Border punch.

7 Step 2 Step 3 Put a strip of SNAIL adhesive on both short ends of scalloped Midnight Muse card stock. Lay card stock over the 4-1/2 piece of Midnight Muse 3/8 stitched satin ribbon. Adhere ends of ribbon to SNAIL adhesive. Step 3a Step 3b Step 4 Flip scalloped card stock over so top side is face up. Slip a piece of 3 Midnight Muse 3/8 stitched satin ribbon underneath the ribbon that has been adhered to the scalloped card stock. Tie in a knot. Trim the ends. Step 4a Step 4b Step 5 Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere scalloped ribbon piece to front bottom of card.

8 Step 5 Step 6 From the Hello, Lovely stamp set, stamp the thank you, you re the best image twice using Midnight Muse ink, onto scrap Whisper White card stock. Cut one out completely and just the thank you from the other. Step 6a Step 6b Step 6c Step 7 Punch a Decorative Label from scrap of Crushed Curry DSP. Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere thank you piece onto Decorative Label.

9 Step 7a Step 7b Step 8 Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere thank you/decorative Label piece to top front of card. Card is done. If desired, stamp envelope with tulip image. Step 8 Card #2 Instructions You are making two of these cards. Repeat the following steps on each of the Note Cards. Step 1 Create thank you image as shown in Steps 6 and 7. Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere to front of card along with flag made with 4 x 3/4 Crushed Curry DSP.

10 Step 1 Step 2 On a 3-1/2 x 1-1/4 Midnight Muse card stock, punch one 3-1/2 side with the Scallop Border punch. Adhere to front of card. Step 2a Step 2b Step 3 Using Jet Black StazOn ink, stamp the tulip image onto to scrap Whisper White card stock. Color with Blender Pen and ink pads. Die cut with tulip Framelits and Big Shot. Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere to front of card. Tie 9 piece of ribbon into a bow and adhere over the tulip stems with Glue Dot. Trim tails. Add Dazzling Details if desired. Card is done. If desired, stamp envelope with tulip image. Step 3a Step 3b

11 Flower Pen Instructions Step 1 Using a Bone Folder, flatten a tissue roll. Cut open along one side. Adhere a 4 x 5 piece of Crushed Curry DSP to inside of tissue roll using Anywhere Glue Stick. Use Bone Folder to smooth out. Step 1 a Step 1b Step 2 Adhere 4 x 5-1/2 piece of Crushed Curry DSP to outside of tissue roll using Anywhere Glue Stick. Use Bone Folder to smooth out. Wrap 1/2 hanging piece to other side of tissue roll to re-close roll. Step 2a Step 2b Step 3 Adhere two rows of Sticky Strip covering the seam of the DSP. From folded side of tissue roll, clip all the way down, just to the Sticky Strip, but do not cut Sticky Strip. Clips should be about 1/4 apart.

12 Step 3a Step 3b Step 4 Remove red liner of Sticky Strip. Wrap tissue roll around the ink pen. Step 4a Step 4b Step 5 Wrap one row, (maybe two if flower needs extra support) of Sticky Strip to outside base of tissue roll. Remove red liner. Step 5

13 Step 6 Wrap Washi Tape around flower base and down the length of pen to resemble the stem of a flower. Pinch tape together and onto pen making small pleats when you have extra tape. Step 6a Step 6b Step 6c Step 7 Pull down each layer of petals and shape. Step 7a Step 7b

14 Step 8 Take 12 Midnight Muse 3/8 stitched satin ribbon and tie in bow around base of flower. Flower Pen is now done. Step 8 Materials: Stampin Up!
