2 STAGE SPECIFICATIONS The performing space is framed in an Italian black box, upstage is a white cyclorama framed by legs and a border. The is partly covered with a rectangular white dance marley, starting in front of the cyclorama, which is the dancing area. The rest of the stage around it is black (black marley or stage painted in black) and provides a breathing space to the overall scenography. A constructed tree, which is lit, of approx. 10' (3m) high and 17' (5m) wide with a 3' (1m) base is upstage right on the white marley. The cyclorama is lit from the back. In order to preserve the aesthetic of the set, the FOH curtain is closed when the audience enters. Because of the white scenography, the quality of the black out in the house is required. 3 The Venue shall provide as complete as possible technical specifications (description of the stage and the rigging possibilities in the auditorium, masking equipment, light and sound equipment, technical contacts...) with a ground plan and a cross section of both the auditorium and the stage. VectorWorks and Autocad files of the venue are also required. A technical schedule and a specific lighting plot with the stage configuration adapted to the venue will be sent in return. Total depth from edge of proscenium to upstage wall: min. 33' (10m). Height of the lighting pipes: min. 0' (m). White PVC cyclorama for rear-projection: min. ' (8m) wide x min. 0' (m) high. Legs frame the cyclorama at the width of the white marley and a border frames the cyclorama at a height of 17' (5m). Because the cyclorama is lit from the back, we need a minimum of 7' (m) space behind it. Also provide necessary equipment to stretch the cyclo from the and the sides. FOH curtain. 5 REQUIRED CREW & WORKING HOURS The load-in starts the day before the performance (in case of shared programs or specific technical configurations, please pre-set up the black box and the lights in advance according to our plot). The day before the performance, the venue shall provide during 3 periods of 4 hours each for the setting of the black box, rigging of the lights and focusing: 1 lighting manager, light technicians 1 stage manager, 1 stage hand, 1 flying bars technician 1 sound manager (4 hours only) The day of the performance, the venue shall provide: - during 1 period of 4 hours for lights focusing, cueing and stage finishing: 1 lighting manager, 1 light technician 1 stage manager, 1 stage hand/ flying bars technician 1 dresser: ironing of the costumes upon arrival. Costume cleaning for a two show day or if a run through with costumes is required for preview or photo call. In case of a day to day tour, please provide a costume cleaning upon arrival. - during 1 period of 4 hours for sound check and tech rehearsals: 1 lighting manager 1 stage manager 1 sound manager - during 1 period of 4 hours for performance and load out: 1 lighting manager 1 stage manager 1 sound manager 1 wardrobe person: a washing and drying of the costumes ( loads, quick cold wash: darks, whites) is requested and have to be done within hours.
