The Robin Norling Bequest Prize of $1000 was won by Nick Mourtzakis 'Cadmium Green'. Highly Commended were awarded to Zai Kuang 'Dry Season' ; Mark Feiler 'AlanaBlu2' 1

It was a busy day with Killabakh s Day in the Country and the opening of the Manning Art Prize, but back to Ruth s party it was a good day weather-wise and Ruth really enjoyed it, she couldn t believe all those people were there for her. The original idea for Naked & Nude was suggested by art critic, John McDonald who is again judging the award. 5 Don t DIS my Ability Art-care Plus at Great Lakes Art Society is planning to stage an exhibition for artists with disabilities from the The exhibition will be titled Don t DIS my Ability. The art-care group has been running for about 4 years more as a social group than active art lesson type sessions. I thought that it was time for us to showcase our work and also extend an invitation to artists of the Manning, Hastings and Myall lakes art societies who are Disabled by injury or disease to take part. This is not a competition. It is an effort to display works by artists who ordinarily would not be able to display.
