1 Commerce Connection SEPTEMBER 2014 The purpose of the Waterville Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote the civic, commercial, professional, industrial, and general welfare of the Waterville Area by providing a favorable business climate and meaningful services to its members. The Port Authority helps support your future growth and sustainability. Their most popular financial resources are BetterBuildings NWO, Regional 166 Loan Program, NOW Bond Fund, and the SBA 504 Loan Program. She will be talking about innovative business financing. The cost for Waterville Area Chamber members is $12 and it is $17 for nonmembers. Please RSVP by Sept.14th at Nomination Time is Upon Us! The Chamber is seeking nominations for 2014 Officers and Board of Directors. President, Vice President, Treasurer along with several Board of Directors positions are up for election. Please keep in mind that to be a successful Chamber the support of the members is vital. Consider adding your name or the name of a co-worker to the list below of nominees. Our chamber is growing and we have exciting ideas floating around with the Board of Directors. The Vice President and Treasurer positions are a one-year term. This year the festival will be on September 27th, 9am-5pm in downtown Waterville. Chamber members get a free booth, so if you haven t filled out a vendor application do so soon. Also, get your cars registered for the car show and remember parade entries are free for everyone except politicians. These forms can be found in the newsletter.
