1 2015 LEANDER HIGH CRAFT MARKET November 21, 2015 VENDOR INFORMATION PACKET #1 To the Fall 2015 Leander High Craft Market Vendors WELCOME! Please read through this packet carefully. This packet provides you with important information about the show including set-up times, entrances, parking, and more! Pay close to attention to the entrance and parking changes from previous years due to addition at LHS. This year we will be having a second entrance at the back of the high school through GYM2. Signs will be posted to direct traffic. BOOTH ASSIGNMENT Your booth location (not your booth #) is located in the body of your . Please note that adjustments may be made to your booth assignment up until show day. Your specific booth number will be provided to you when you arrive to setup at Vendor Registration. If possible, we will post the vendor directory on the website with specific booth # s a few days before the show. Check back next week! SET-UP Friday evening set-up times vary depending on your booth assignment. Saturday morning setup times are the same for all vendors. Booth Location Friday Night Setup Saturday Morning Setup Use Entrance COMMONS 8:00 to 10:30 P.M. 6:00 to 9:00 A.M. Back GYM 2 9:00 to 10:30 P.M. 6:00 to 9:00 A.M. Back GYM 1 Not available (SORRY!) 6:00 to 9:00 A.M. Front PAC Not available (SORRY!) 6:00 to 9:00 A.M. Front If your booth is in COMMONS or GYM2, we encourage you to set up on Friday night if possible because there will be less vendor traffic on Friday night. Entrance for COMMONS and GYM2 will be in the back of the high school, see attached map. Your Setup entrance is determined by your booth assignment. ENTRANCE Front : is for vendor booths in PAC or GYM 1 (This entrance is at the PAC doors) ENTRANCE Back : is for vendor booths in GYM 2 or COMMONS (This entrance is at the back of the high school, follow signs) The entrances are marked on the enclosed school map. If you set-up on Friday night, please drape or secure your booth before you depart for the evening. Parent volunteers will be staying in the building overnight, however the baseball booster club, Leander High School, and Leander ISD are not responsible for any loss or damage to your property. Whether you setup on Friday or Saturday, please follow the same instructions: Upon arrival at LHS, follow the signs to your designated Setup Entrance Front or Back. You should first check in with Vendor Registration, where you will receive a show-day personal vendor information packet. Your packet will include your final specific booth number, last minute show updates, one free drink coupon, our advertising list, a silent auction donation form, and a survey. For your convenience, we will have volunteers to accept your silent auction donation when you receive your packet. Our team will then assist you in unloading your vehicle, you will give them your booth #, and they will begin taking your items to your booth. While they are doing so, please move your vehicle to the vendor parking area immediately after your vehicle is unloaded; no vehicles may be left at the curb area at any time. If you have a trailer or large truck / vehicle to unload, please follow the specific instructions of the curbside assistant in order to prevent blocking traffic. PARKING Parking on Friday Vendors may park in any spot on Friday evening. A local high school football game could be held at Bible Stadium adjacent to LHS on Friday evening, but ample parking should be available.
2 Parking on Saturday On show day, please park in the lot nearest the Bible football stadium, at the back of the lot near Bagdad Road or behind the high school to leave the parking spaces close to the school for your customers. If you require Handicap parking or assistance, please inquire with one of the adults in charge at the curb. IMPORTANT REMINDERS CHAIRS: Two (2) chairs are provided with each booth space. TABLES: Please bring your own tables. Pre-paid rented tables will be in your booth upon arrival. We may not have any extra tables available for rent on show day. ELECTRICITY: If you pre-paid for electricity, you are assigned a booth with access to an electrical outlet. Please bring your own electrical and long extension cords and/or multi plugs. Distances to outlets vary, and outlets are almost always shared with adjacent vendors. If your vendor application did not include payment for electricity, please understand that you will not have access to an electrical outlet. Under no circumstances may electrical cords be placed across a walkway. NO CHANGE / CASH AVAILABLE: Please provide your own cash and change needed to operate your booth. We will not have change or cash available for you. We do not accept credit cards for any payments on show day. SILENT AUCTION DONATION: Each vendor is asked to donate an item for our fundraiser. We appreciate any donation, but we recommend a minimum retail value of $25. We appreciate your generous support of this fundraiser for our baseball program. Please deliver your donated item when you pick up your show day vendor packet. We will have volunteers to accept your donation. This year, the Silent Auction is in Gym2. Please note that items may be silent-auctioned, given away as prizes or raffle items, and may be either used individually or grouped with other items. Use the Post-It label we will provide in your show-day packet to ID your item. NO NAILS OR TAPE: Please remember that we are not allowed to use any tacks, nails, or tape on walls, glass cases, or bleachers. Please use a removable adhesive (like 3M removable adhesive hooks, etc.) or shelves. SELL FROM YOUR BOOTH: Your booth rental enables you to sell your products from within your booth. As a courtesy to shoppers and other vendors, we ask that you do not roam the show or solicit customers from locations other than your booth. TOBACCO AND ALCOHOL PROHIBITED: LISD prohibits the sale or use of tobacco or alcohol products at LHS. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Listen for important announcements over the PA system before, during and after the show. SHOW TIME Doors open on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. sharp! Please allow plenty of time for set-up so you are ready for our shoppers when the doors open! The show ends at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Please come prepared for full set-up until the end of the show. No early tear-downs, please! Early tear-downs are discourteous and disruptive to our shoppers and other vendors. Vendors who ignore this request will forfeit any future opportunities to sell at our shows. END OF THE DAY Volunteers will be available at the end of the show to help you load your items back into your vehicle. We request your patience while we carefully move out each of our 160+ vendors. We work as quickly as possible to load your booth in a quick, fair, and orderly fashion. This process usually goes very quickly especially since our baseball players and parents are eager to help. Your helpers will have color-coded name tags this year to help you to know which players are assigned to help load in your area. Announcements at closing will explain the process. (Note: Bring your own dolly to speed up this process.)
