1 RECENT PHOTOS October 1, 2015 E-Newsletter On September 17, The Sea Isle City Women s Civic Club hosted their annual Card Party Fundraiser inside the Welcome Center Community Lodge. In addition to a luncheon, great prizes and plenty of socializing over table-top games, the event also had a record number of participants, who helped the Civic Club raise money for Holy Redeemer and Saint Casmir Food Banks

Sea Isle s annual Fall Family Festival on Saturday & Sunday, September 19 & 20 was a huge success. On Saturday, the Promenade was filled with shoppers who enjoyed 400 vendors

3 Local artist Barbara Ostrander (left photo, second from right) had many one-of-a-kind water color paintings on sale; and Pat Byrne, of Morrisville, PA (right photo), shopped for beautiful wall hangings at a separate vendor s booth The Weiler Familiy of Sea Isle City (below, left) met Mackie the Stilt Walker on the Promenade during Fall Festival; the popular Photo Booth Dude took many free pictures of festival-goers, including members of the Bendorf and Panter families, of Barrington, NJ (center); and Avery Quay, 5, of Downingtown, PA and Sea Isle City, had her face painted by Snow White Lisa Rutledge, of Marie s Seafood, served a delicious lunch to Joel Stango, of Sea Isle City; and the A-List Band filled Excursion Park with lively music on Saturday of Fall Family Festival

4 The Sand Sculpting Demonstration and Competition attracted many spctators on Saturday Nicholas, 12, and Marissa Hess, 10, of Villas, NJ, won second prize in the Sand Sculpting Contest and Andrew Kirkpatrick and Brian Strain, of Media, PA took home the first place trophy On Sunday of Fall Family Festival, hundreds of people enjoyed free Historical Trolley Tours (continued )

5 The Snake Brothers Band filled the air with Blue Grass Music on Sunday

6 The annual Gerard Desiderio Antique Auto Show brought Fall Family Festival to a dramatic close. This year, 75 vehicles appeared in the show The Auto Show s Best in Show trophy went to Beth and Mike Tackas, of Pittsgrove, NJ, owners of this eye-catching 1940 Chrysler New Yorker, which had Suicide Doors and many other features The Auto Show s Mayor s Trophy went to Dr. Brian Altman, of Ocean City, owner of this beautiful 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II, which had power antenna, steering, breaks and windows

7 On September 21, Sea Isle City s new City Hall / Public Safety Building officially opened for business. Hundreds of residents and visitors were on hand to enjoy the Flag Raising and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony prior to touring the 29,000 square-foot facility... (Continued )
