3 Sea Isle City s annual Community Day celebration took place on May 20 at the Community Lodge, where residents could safely destroy personal documents, complements of First Bank of Sea Isle City (shown below, at left) and everyone could meet Dodge the Cape May County Sheriff s Horse During Community Day, the public could speak with City Officials and Department Heads as well as representatives from a variety of local civic groups
4 During the Community Day Awards Ceremony, the Chamber of Commerce & Revitalization presented their annual scholarships to two local students. Chamber President Chris Glancey is shown below with scholarship recipients Mary Kate Monichetti (at left) and Lauren Moretti Each year on Community Day, First Bank of Sea Isle City presents their annual Community Partnership Award (and a check for $2000) to a local civic organization that serves others. This year s recipient of that honor was AARP Chapter 710. 7 Sea Isle City s annual Turtle Party took place on Sunday, May 21, at the Lobster Loft Restaurant. The event was very well attended by cheerful residents and visitors who were eager to support a good cause. Proceeds from the Turtle Party benefit Beachcomber Guided Tours, which educate and entertain people of all ages on Sea Isle s beaches each summer Shown below during the Turtle Party are some of the Beachcomber Guides who hosted the event.
