CONVERT OLD CRT TUBE TVS TO LCD FLAT SCREENS The munting base used fr the SLELCD is the same base used in ther SLE type prducts frm Lucasey Manufacturing fr CRT Tube TVs. The interchangeable base can be used t cnvert frm existing SLE CRT TV munts t Flat Screens using the SLELCD. SECURITY RELEASE TOOL The patented security mechanism used fr the SLELCD ensures that the flat screen can nt be easily remved frm its munted lcatin withut the apprpriate security remval tl. PROTECT EXPENSIVE COUNTERTOPS When munting n furniture that has marble, granite r Crian surfaces, where the cuntertp can nt be screwed int, Lucasey has an ptinal adhesive accessry that can be used. The APSLEADS furniture munting accessry, sld separately, uses an adhesive pad t cnnect with the cuntertp, screws int the back f the furniture and attaches t the SLE Base. This maintains the security fr the mnitr while preventing damage t expensive cuntertps. FAST INSTALLATION Once the prper munting lcatin is determined, Ire SLE Base can be installed very quickly nt the furniture. The SLE.CD munting plate can be attached t the mnitr and assembled in a few minutes. Fr large installatins, many rms can be finished in a shrt time. EASY CARE AND MAINTENANCE The decrative plastic cver allws fr easy cleaning under and arund the mnitr. Clean with a sft dust clth and d nt use any cleaners that may damage the plastic r metal surfaces. Imprtant! Please read all warnings and cautins befre installing the munt. Take int accunt the distance frm the wall when the mnitr is swiveled. Place the Base in the exact lcatin t munt the mnitr in the prper viewing lcatin and mark the base lcatin fr installatin. 12.0" SLE Base placement with 6" frm back f mnitr t back f furniture. SLELCD Furniture Placement Tp View with Swivel r 1 Swivel Restrictin is adjustable frm ±10 t±40. Shwn with 30 swivel and typical 32" flat screen. SLELCD Swivel Restrictr Stp (Optin) r T P View Rivet Plate with Swivel Stp Push in stp until it hits the SLE Base. Detail C Bttm View Swivel Stp If the installatin requires that the swivel be restricted, determine the extent f swivel desired with the Rivet Plate attached t the Base. With the #10-24 Nylck Nut nly hand tight, swivel the Rivet Plate t the desired degree f swivel and push the Swivel Stp in until it hits the Base. Withut mving the Swivel Stp, swivel the SLELCD Rivet Plate back t neutral and release the Base frm the Rivet Plate. See the Base Release Instructins fr details n releasing the Base frm the Rivet Plate. Tighten the #10-24 Hylck Nut t fix the Swivel Stp in place. Base Installatin Using Optinal APSLEADS Adhesive Adaptr (Optinal APSLEADS Sld Separately) r 12"-16" Use ptinal APSLEADS fr Marble, Granite, Crian r ther surfaces that can nit be drilled. } Adjustable ~l If the cuntertp can nt be drilled, there is an ptinal adhesive adapter, APSLEADS, which can be used t screw int the back f the furniture and adhere t the surface f the furniture. This adapter can be adjusted frm 12" t the frnt f the Base t 18" t the frnt f the Base. Fllw the installatin instructins fr the APSLEADS t munt the Base in the apprpriate lcatin. Tp Plate Tp Plate Assembly Assemble the Tp Plate with the Plastic Cver and Rivet Plate as shwn, (are shuld be taken nt t scratch the Plastic Cver when it is placed between the tw metal parts. Rivet Plate Plastic Cver Align the three pieces and screw tgether with fur f the six prvided #10-24 Cuntersunk Screws. Leave the tw hles at the back f the Rivet Plate empty until after the mnitr is attached. > #10-24 Cuntersunk Screws Ruting Mnitr Crds The mnitr crds can be ruted thrugh the 2" center hle with a plastic snap ring r can be ruted t the mnitr withut ging thrugh this hle depending upn the type f mnitr and individual preference. 2" Crd Hle with Plastic Snap Ring Befre attaching the mnitr t the Tp Plate, cnnect the mnitr crds as instructed in the mnitr's user manual.

An assrtment f mnitr attaching screws are prvided (r cnvenience. The apprpriate screws t use fr munting the mnitr are determined by the mnitr manufacturer. Failure t use the screws recmmended by the mnitr manufacturer can result in the mnitr drpping frm the munt and/r damage t the electrnic cmpnents inside the mnitr. Setscrews are prvided fr installatins where the Tp Plate can nt be munted flush against the back f the mnitr. Mnitr Attachment with Recessed Cavity Setscrews, washers and nuts are prvided fr recessed cavity installatins. Attach the Setscrews t the mnitr threaded inserts and secure using washers and nuts. Use the Spacers t prvide a gap between the back f the mnitr and the Tp Assembly. Stack additinal washers as needed t make the Spacers level with back f the mnitr. Secure the Tp Assembly t the studs using anther washer and nut. Plastic Edge Prtectr Mnitr Attachment with Flat Back Phillips screws, washers and nuts are prvided fr SLELCD installatins where there are threaded inserts flush with the back f the mnitr. Set the Tp Plate flush with the back f the mnitr. Back Cver / Attach the Tp Plate t the mnitr using the apprpriate size Phillips Screws and Washers. Back Cver Attachment Check t make sure the mnitr is securely attached t the Tp Plate. Slide the Plastic Edge Prtectr nt the center f the tp edge f the Back Cver t dampen any nise frm the metal parts. Rivet Plate Cuntersunk Screws Screw the Back Cver t the Rivet Plate using the remaining tw Cuntersunk Screws.

6 SLELCD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Page 6 f 6 m LUCASEY Mnitr t Base Attachment With the mnitr munted t the Tp Assembly, align the rivet n the Rivet Plate with the Triangular Slt n the Base. Slide the Tp Assembly back until there is an audible click and the Tp Assembly lcked int the Base. Pull frward n the mnitr t ensure that the rivet has engaged the Base. Warning! Check t ensure the mnitr is lcked in place and can nt be disengaged frm the SLE Base. Leaving the Mnitr & Tp Assembly lse can result in equipment damage r injury, Tp Assembly Triangular Slt n Base Mnitr Release See the SLELCD Base Release Instructins fr details n hw t release the mnitr frm the base nce installed. The release instructins are shipped with the release rds in a separate bx frm the munts fr security purpses.
