2 1 Stamp and mail! Tricia is reviving two classic arts: monogramming and hand-written notes! She starts by making two clever folders to hold her projects. Then she makes a monogram using a nifty stamper and stamps her way to a variety of stationery. When it s all put together, it s a personalized set of monograms ready to mail! Medium & Large Numbers Set 2" 18" Grid Ruler FEATURED PRODUCTS JustRite Stampers Round Monogram Stamper Club Scrap Stratosphere Colossal Paper Kit Stratosphere Collection Papers - Light Blue Print - Green Print - Green Plain supplies Ribbon Envelopes Adhesive Black Inkpad tools Bone Folder Pencil 2 1/2" Circle Punch Small Letter Set - Light Blue Plain Starting your Page 1 Lay a sheet of Statosphere Light Blue Colossal paper from Club Scrap facedown on the work surface in a landscape orientation. Align the 2" 18" Grid Ruler down the left side of the paper, " in from the left edge. Run a bone folder along the ruler to make a scoreline. Repeat on the other side of the paper. Fold along the scorelines, reinforcing the folds with a bone folder. Unfold. Fold the paper in half vertically. Reinforce the fold with a bone folder. Unfold.

3 2 Make a pencil mark 9" from the bottom edge. 2 Fold the bottom edge of the paper up to the mark, making a 4 " pocket. Burnish with a bone folder. Unfold. 3 Make a notch in each side of the folder by cutting from the bottom edge up to the horizontal fold on the inside of the side scorelines. At the horizontal fold, bring the cut out to the edge of the paper at a 45-degree angle. Fold up the bottom flap. Apply adhesive to the side flaps and fold in to form a basic, full-sized folder. If you choose, turn the full-sized folder into a smaller folio with inside flaps. Use a bone folder and make a horizontal scoreline across the top of the folder, 4 " from the top edge. Fold along the score line. 4 Unfold. Cut along the vertical, center fold down to the horizontal fold you just made, separating the top of the folder into two flaps. Fold the corners of each flap down to the horizontal fold and adhere.

4 3 5 Fold the two flaps down along the horizontal fold. Place a sheet of Green Print paper from Club Scrap s Stratosphere collection under one of the flaps. Trace around the flap. Use the other half of the Green Print paper to trace the flap on the other side of the folder. Cut out the flap shapes. Be sure to cut on the inside of the traced lines so that the Green Print will be slightly smaller than the flaps. Adhere to the flaps of the folder. Make embellishments for the flaps. Remove the cover from the Round Monogram Stamper from JustRite Stampers, and hold the stamper with the stamping area facing up. If the stamping area is not exposed, press down on the outer white ring. Squeeze the red buttons on the sides of the stamp to lock in place. 6 Select one of the border circles and fit it into the circular channel bordering the stamping area. Release the prepared stamp by pressing on the outer ring until it clicks. The stamp will flip over and make contact with the inkpad inside the stamper. 7 Turn the Round Monogram Stamper over and press down on a strip of Stratosphere Green Print cardstock stamping the border image. Tricia recommends that you practice stamping on scratch paper before stamping on the cardstock. Stamp a second image. Use a 2 1/2" circle punch and punch out each image.

5 4 Adhere a circle to the point of each flap of the folder. Close the folder. Edge a 5" 8 " piece of Stratosphere Light Blue Print paper from Club Scrap with black ink. Place adhesive on the side and the bottom edges. Adhere to the back of the folder, " from the bottom edge, creating a pocket to hold postage. 8 Edge a 6 " 8 " piece of Light Blue Print Stratosphere paper with black ink. Adhere the inked paper centered on the front of the folder. Edge a 1 " 6 " strip of Green Plain paper with black ink. Adhere it to the left side of the inked paper to create an anchor strip. 9 Create a monogram for the cover. Expose the stamp again by pressing down on the outer ring of the stamper and locking in place with the red buttons. Remove one of the Large Alphabet letters included with the Round Monogram Stamper from its storage sheet. Attach the letter to stamper by fitting the ridges on the letter into the channels on the stamping surface. Repeat for a second letter to form the monogram. You may have to trim the excess rubber around the letter slightly to make both letters fit inside the circle border. Stamp the monogram on Stratosphere Green Print paper. Punch out with a circle punch and ink the edges with black ink. Adhere to the anchor strip on the front of the folder. The folder is now ready to be filled with stationery. When placing the letters on the stamper, they should be in placed in reverse order. When the stamp is turned over to stamp the image, they will then be correct.

6 5 Create a monogram bordered with words. Write the words you wish to add to the stamp on a scratch sheet of paper. Count the letters and the spaces in between. Divide this number by two. This letter (or space) should be placed at the center top (or bottom) of the circle. Expose the stamping surface of the Round Monogram Stamper. Remove the circular border. Using tweezers, pick up your center letter from the Small Letter accessory set from JustRite Stampers. Place the letter centered at the top of the circle, pushing the ridge on the back of the letter into the channel on the stamping surface. Attach the remaining desired letters to the stamper. Push down on the ring of the stamper to release the stamp to the inkpad. Stamp on a scratch piece of paper to make sure the letters are properly placed. Stamp the monogram on envelopes as the return address, on notecards and on writing papger to create a stationery set To make an alternate set of monogrammed stationery, create a full-sized folder out of Dark Blue Colossal paper from Club Scrap by repeating Step 1 Step 3. Embellish the outside of the folder with a piece of Green Print Stratosphere paper, an anchor strip and a monogram. Fill the folder with monogrammed writing paper, notecards, envelopes, and bookmarks.

7 6 PAGES Monograms aren t just for stationery! This stamper is perfect for creating titles for your scrapbooking pages. Tricia also stamped an empty border and used it to highlight her journaling on this page. NOTEPADS Tricia created this monogrammed notepad by combining the Small and Large Alphabets included with the Round Monogram Stamper. She stamped the image and then embossed the monogram with gold embossing powder. GREETING CARDS Tricia used the stamper to create her Christmas cards too. She used the Medium & Large Numbers accessory set with the stamper to create the year in the center of the monogram and added a greeting to the border using the Small Letter accessory set.
