1 Graphic 45 club august 2013 STUDENT SUPPLY LIST Paper Trimmer Adhesive (dry, liquid, glue dots, 1/8 sookwang tape) Foam Squares Pencil Ruler Scissors Craft Knife & Cutting Mat Vertical Photos: one 4 x 6 Horizontal Photos: two 3 x 5 Baby powder or Embossing Magic Paper Piercer Corner Rounder Punch Hole Punches (approx 1 3/8", 5/8" and 1/4") GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Your kit this month (to be used in addition to your starter kit) includes all additional papers, cardstock ribbon etc that you will need for this month s projects Pull from your starter kit: August Foundations paper August Cut Aparts paper Small August Calendar from the Calendar Foundation paper Chipboard Tags Sticker Sheet OPTIONAL: Ink all papers with Distress Ink if desired CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS: OPTIONAL SUPPLIES Favorite Distress Inks & Ink Blending Tool (G45 used Vintage Photo & Black Soot this month) Postage Edge & Scallop Edge Decorative Scissors 3. Each card needs one tag each 4. Cut the 18 piece of black satin ribbon into two pieces, one 12 piece for Card # 2 and one 6 piece for Card # Cut all papers as shown on the enclosed cutting maps. As you cut, place each piece in the appropriately labeled pile. Any leftover pieces will go into your bag labeled scraps for use in future months CARDS: 01. As your papers are already cut, follow all ASSEMBLY instructions as provided by Graphic 45. We have added a few notations to the instructions as helpful hints or where we have noticed errors in the instructions 1. Before you cut anything, make yourself four piles, one for each card and one for the layout 2. Your card bases (found in a sealed bag, careful when you pull them out they have pieces inside) each have a paper label inside to indicate which card is which.

2 Graphic 45 club august 2013 LAYOUT GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Adhere your all of the green photo mats to the coordinating yellow photo mats 2. Cut the tear strips from your two August Foundations papers, these are the base of your lay out 3. The right hand foundation is rotated so that August is upside down in the lower right corner (don t worry, it gets covered up) LEFT PAGE: 1. Adhere 12 x 2 3/4 fruit paper flush to left and right edges of page and 3/4 from bottom of page 2. Adhere 12 sunflower border flush above fruit paper 3. Adhere 12 x 1 5/8 green floral paper flush above sunflower border 4. Adhere 12 fruit/red word border flush above green floral paper 5. Adhere postcard 1/4 from the left edge of the page and 1 1/2 from the bottom of the page 6. Adhere red photo corner from sticker sheet to top left corner of the postcard 7. Adhere Good Pies image 3 from the left edge of the page and just below the red word border 8. Adhere August title/border across bottom of larger photo mat, trim ends to fit, and adhere 2 1/4 from the top of the page and 6 from the left edge of the page 9. Crumple Diving Girl postage stamp and tuck under left side of photo mat as shown 10. Crumple Sunshine and smiles tag and adhere overlapping the Good Pies image and the bottom left corner of the photo mat as shown 11. From the colour side of the Sentiment Sheet, cut out the yellow Summer and adhere to Sunshine & Smiles tag 12. Cut out two paper flowers using template provided as indicated on your cutting map. From Chipboard Sheet, locate the cherry and the sunflower chipboard buttons, adhere to paper flowers, and adhere to the bottom right of the postcard as shown. 13. Attach stamped metal brads through the holes in the chipboard buttons 14. From the sticker sheet, locate the sunflower circle and adhere to the top left corner of the page RIGHT PAGE: 1. Repeat steps #1 through #4 from LEFT PAGE 2. Use template provided to cut a scallop border from stripe paper, adhere to 4 x 12 cardstock and trim edges with scallop edge scissors 3. Adhere blue stripe/yellow scallop border 7/8 from the top of the page and 1/2 from the right edge of the page 4. Adhere green Summertime and the living is easy border to the bottom of one the smaller photo mats, trim ends to fit 5. Adhere two smaller photo mats One 2 1/4 from the top of the page & 1 1/2 from the center seam of the page One 1 7/8 from the bottom of the page and 1 from the center of the page 5. Crumple sunflower postage stamp and tuck under the right edge of the lower photo mat as shown 6. Crumple golden eagle postage stamp and adhere over right edge of lower photo mat as shown 7. Round corners of small August calendar and use foam squares to adhere to the bottom right corner of the page as shown. It is approx 1/8 from the right edge of the page, with the bottom left corner 1 from the bottom of the page 8. Adhere Apple & Gooseberry Jam label flush to diamond border on the right side of the page and centered at the point of the scallop border 9. Locate the beans label, the corn label, the butterfly postage stamp, and the pear postage stamp, crumple all and adhere as pictured 10. From the sticker sheet, locate the cherry circle and adhere to the top left corner of the page
