Trim the tear strip from the 12 x12 sheet of Eden (lt. green solid) paper. This is the layout base. 2. Trim a 10 x2 strip of Luster (pink solid). Adhere 1½ from the bottom, centered side to side. 3. Using a blue journaling pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line along the bottom edge of the pink strip. 4. Trim a 10 x¼ strip of Elation (bright blue swirls) and adhere horizontally flush with the bottom edge of the pink strip. 5. Scallop along a 12 edge of Frenzy (bright blue floral). Once scalloped, trim a 10 x½ strip. Adhere the strip horizontally, white side up with scallops down, flush with the bottom edge of the bright blue strip.

2 6. Trim a 10 x¼ strip of Arcadia (deep rose) and adhere horizontally over the top of the white scallop strip so that only a bit of the scallops are showing. 7. Trim a 10 x¼ strip of Bless (stripe) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Adhere horizontally across the top of the pink strip. 8. Adhere one 3½ x5½ photo on the right side of the layout so that it sits flush on the striped strip and their right edges are lined up. 9. Trim a 3½ x5½ piece of Delirium (deep rose floral) and adhere it on the left side of the layout so that it sits flush on the striped strip and their left edges are lined up. 10. Lay the other 3½ x5½ photo to the left of the first. DO NOT ADHERE! It should overlap the piece of patterned paper on its left. 11. Locate the large pink flower with stem from the element sticker sheet. Remove the flower top so that only the stem is left. Gently lay it from top to bottom of the layout so that it covers the left edge of the second photo and is exactly how you want it. Then, carefully lift up the photo and stem and trim off any of the photo that is on the left side of the stem so that now the photo has the same curve. Adhere the photo and the stem back down in place. 12. Add title with the deep rose alphabet stickers in the pink strip to the right of the stem as shown. 13. Add journaling to the remaining portion of the pink strip to the right of stem around the title. 14. Trim a 10 x¼ scalloped strip of deep rose paper. Adhere along the top of the photos and patterned paper with the scallop edge up as shown. 15. From the chipboard alphabet package, find leaf shapes. Add to the stem as desired. Draw a dashed line along the leaves with a white opaque pen if desired. 16. Trim a rough-shaped circle approximately 3 wide from Utopia (rose/pink floral). Distress the edges with a fingernail so it slightly curves up. Repeat the same thing for a 2½ circle of Helio (purple), a 2 circle of Elysian (green/pink floral) and a 1 ½ circle of Luster (pink). 17. Stack these circles in the same order and adhere at the top of the layout so that it slightly overlaps where the second photo and patterned paper meet as shown. 18. Using a paper piercer, poke four holes and adhere one large and three small glazed brads. 19. If desired, add a small tag holding the date from a section of Elation (blue swirl). 20. Add purple dandelion rub-ons to the left of the flower stem as shown. *C*/ 12 x12 single 1. Trim a 9 x12 piece of Elysian (green/pink floral) and adhere on the right side of a piece of white cardstock so that it is flush with the right edge. 2. Trim a 1 x12 strip of Bless (stripe) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Adhere it vertically so that it is flush with the left edge of the Elysian piece. 3. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line vertically down each edge of the striped strip. 4. Trim a ½ x12 strip of Fields (green floral) and adhere it vertically so that it is flush with the left edge of the striped strip. 5. Trim a piece of Arcadia (deep rose solid) to 8¼ x6 1/8. Adhere both vertical 4 x6 photos centered top to bottom and side to side with a small space between them. Set aside. 6. Trim a piece of Frenzy (bright blue floral) to 7 3/8 x7¼. Turn paper white side up and adhere to the page 2 from the bottom and flush with the right edge of the striped strip. 7. Adhere the matted photo block 1 down from the top of the white block and flush with the right edge of the green floral strip. 8. Trim a strip of Utopia (rose/pink floral) to 7 3/8 x1. With the strip held horizontally, round the top right corner and adhere along the top of the white block. 9. Trim another strip of rose/pink floral to 7 3/8 x¾. With the strip held horizontally, round the bottom right corner and adhere along the bottom of the white block. 10. Locate L-shaped pink flourish rub-on from the second sheet in the Olio pack. Split the rub-on in half (at the middle) and adhere in the white section on the left side of the layout as shown. 11. Punch a 3 circle out of Elation (bright blue) and a 2 circle out of Luster (pink). Adhere the pink circle to the middle of the blue one. Using a white opaque pen, draw a dashed line around the outside perimeter of the pink circle. 12 Trim a piece of pink paper to 3½ x3½. Adhere combined blue/ pink circle to center of the pink square. Use small scallop scissors to trim around the circle. 13. Use dimensional dots to adhere the new circle onto the layout as shown. Add chipboard letter to center of the pink circle as a monogram. 14. Add small blue fern rub-on to the right of the circle. 15. Add journaling with blue pen in remaining white section above the photos as shown. pg 2

3 cards/ general instructions/ 1. Cut a 5 x12 strip off of two 12 x12 sheets of white cardstock and set aside. This will leave two 7 x12 sections. 2. Trim these two sections to 7 x10 and then fold in half. These will be the 5 x7 card bases. 3. Take one of the remaining 5 x12 strips and trim it to 5 x10 and fold in half. This will be the 5 x5 card base. 4. Take the other remaining 5 x12 strip and trim it to 5 x8 and fold in half. This will be the 4 x5 card base. 8. Punch or cut a 3 circle out of Shimmer (white). With a blue journaling pen, draw a dashed line around the perimeter of the circle. 9. Add stick flower from element sticker sheet toward the right of the circle. Add large glazed brad as the flower center. 10. Add green stick flower rub-on next to the flower sticker. 11. Using small blue alphabet stickers, spell thank on the left side of the flower stem and you on the right. 12. Add circle to the card in the striped strip as shown using dimensional dots. 13. Embellish with a sticker swirl that is split in half to accent the top and bottom of the circle as shown. Thank You/ 5 x7 vertical 1. Trim a 5 x7 piece of Shimmer (white) and cover the front of the 5 x7 white cardstock card. 2. Trim a 4¾ x2¾ piece of Elysian (green/pink floral) and adhere it horizontally at the top of the card so that it is centered left to right and with the top. 3. Trim a 4¾ x2 strip of Bless (stripe) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Carefully wrap the strip horizontally with some twine or June and tie in a knot on the right and adhere it horizontally under the piece of Elysian. 4. Trim a 4¾ x½ strip of Arcadia (deep rose) and adhere it horizontally under the striped strip. 5. Trim a 4¾ x1¼ strip of Elation (bright blue with green swirl) and adhere under the deep rose strip. 6. Trim two 4¾ x½ scallop strips of Luster (pink). Adhere one at the top of the strip of bright blue so that the scallops are facing down. Adhere the other with the scallops facing up at the top of the striped strip. 7. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line along the edges of the deep rose strip and along the bottom edge of the top pink scalloped strip. Mom/ 5 x5 opens from bottom 1. Trim a 5 x5 square of Arcadia (deep rose) and cover the front of the 5 x5 white cardstock card. 2. Round the bottom two corners. 3. Trim a 5 x4 piece of Felicity (white fern) and adhere horizontally across the card, centered top to bottom. 4. Trim a 5 x2½ strip of Utopia (rose/pink floral) and adhere horizontally across card, centered top to bottom. 5. Trim a 5 x½ strip of Bless (stripe) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Adhere the strip horizontally at the bottom of Utopia. 6. Trim a 5 x½ strip of Luster (pink) and adhere below the white fern piece with the scallops down and it slightly overlaps it. 7. Using a blue journaling pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line along the top and bottom edges of the white fern piece as shown. 8. Adhere the large fern sticker so the bottom is at the lower right and the top is toward the upper left of the card as shown. 9. Locate the label sticker from the element sticker sheet. With the label still on the sheet, add deep rose rub-ons along the edge. 10. Add the word mom to the center of the label with the small rose alphabet. 11. Using dimensional dots, adhere the label sticker to the striped strip so that it overlaps the fern sticker. 12. Add three small glazed brads to the left of the label sticker in the striped strip. pg 3

4 Make a Wish/ 5 x7 vertical 1. Trim a 4¾ x6¾ piece of Cool (green dandelion) and adhere centered to the front of the 5 x7 white cardstock card. 2. Using a ruler and a blue journaling pen, draw a dashed line around the perimeter of the card. 3. Trim a 2¼ x4¼ piece of Helio (purple). 4. Trim a 2¼ x½ strip of Luster (pink) and add to the bottom of the Helio piece block. Scallop along the bottom edge of the combined pink/purple piece. 5. Trim a 2¼ x¼ strip of Bless (stripe) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip and adhere above the scallop. 6. Using a white opaque pen, draw a dashed line just above the striped strip as shown. 7. Punch a 2 scalloped circle from Shimmer (white). 8. Locate the large purple flower with long blue stem from the element sticker sheet and adhere the flower portion directly onto the white scalloped circle. 9. Adhere this combined element to the purple piece, trimming away the extra stem when it meets the striped strip. 10. Using the small blue alpha stickers, add w and sh to spell wish with the i coming from the stem. 11. Wrap a bit of twine or jute around the purple piece as shown and tie in a knot on the left. Adhere the purple flower piece to the right of the card using dimensional dots so that it is 1¾ from the top and ¾ from the right. 12. Add deep rose flourish rub-on to the left of the purple piece. 13. Add a tag cut from Shimmer (white) that says make a to the twine. (To do this, it was printed on the computer and cut into the shape of a tag). Blank Card/ 4 x5 vertical 1. Trim a 3¾ x4¾ piece of Luster (pink) and adhere centered to the front of the 4 x5 white cardstock card. 2. Trim a 3½ x3½ piece of Arcadia (deep rose) and adhere at the bottom of the card centered left to right and at the bottom of the pink section. 3. Trim a 3½ x1 piece of Frenzy (blue floral) and adhere above the deep rose block. 4. Trim a 3½ x½ scallop strip of pink paper and a 3½ x¼ of Bless (stripe) so there are more stripes per strip. Layer the striped strip along the straight edge of the pink scalloped strip. 5. Adhere the combined strip, scallops down, where the blue floral and deep rose papers meet. 6. Carefully separate three of the large flowers from the large floral border sticker strip, making sure to keep the other portions. 7. Adhere one of the flowers on the bottom left of the card. 8. Add a small glazed brad to another one of the flowers and adhere it directly over the first flower using dimensional dots. 9. Add a couple of the floral stems left over from trimming out the flowers to the combined flower as shown. 10. Add one more flower to the upper right of the inside of the card. 11. Save the extra branches from the border sticker for use in the mini book. pg 4

5 spring flower mini album/ general instructions/ 1. Remove the tear strips from Ferver, Trance and Madness and trim to a true 12 x12 square. 2. Score each sheet completely down the page at the 3 and 9 mark. When complete, fold at the scores so that each flap meets in the middle. Do this for all three sheets. You should now have three 6 x12 strips. 3. Fold all three sheets in half, with the seam on the inside, to form a 6 x6 square. 4. Scallop the open edges of both the Ferver and Madness sheets as shown. 5. With the sheet of Ferver open so that the seam side is up, lay the piece of Trance directly on top of it, the same way. Repeat this for the sheet of Madness so that now all three sheets are on top of each other. Adjust them so that the seams and edges are even. 6. Holding the sheets together tightly, use Crop-a-dile (or hole punch) to punch a hole 1 in at the seam at the top and bottom. These holes will thread all the sheets together eventually, but not yet. 7. Separate the album cover (Ferver) to work on first. Unfold it so that it is again a 6 x12 strip (the flaps will stay closed). 8. Trim two ½ x12 strips of Bless (stripe) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Adhere one strip along the inside seam to seal the two flaps together (so that you only have openings on the ends). 9. Adhere the other strip across the middle on the opposite side so that now both sides look the same. Trim away any excess and refold the paper to a 6 x6 square that opens on the right. 10. Put album loosely back together. album prep work/ 1. Trim two 5 x5 squares of Luster (pink solid), Shimmer (white), Elation (bright blue with swirls), and Helio (purple). 2. Using a blue journaling pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line around the perimeter of each pink, white and blue square. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line around the purple squares. 3. Trim two 1 x4½ strips of Luster (pink solid), Elation (bright blue with swirls), and Helio (purple). 4. Trim six ¼ x4½ strips of Bless (stripe) against the grain so that there are more stripes per strip. Adhere one strip along one edge of each the strips from step Adhere the strips of pink, with the stripe edge to the inside, on the purple squares so that they are centered top to bottom and with the side. Do the same for the bright blue strips on the pink squares and the purple strips on the blue squares. 6. Cut vertically down the center of the double scallop border sticker to separate into two scalloped strips. 7. Remove one strip and cut into two 4 sections. Adhere one section, with scallops down, to the bottom of each white square. 8. Add flower rub-ons to each white square as shown. 9. Using large blue alphabet stickers, spell spring along the top edge of the scalloped strip on one white square and flowers on the other. 10. Using a blue journaling pen, draw free form journaling lines on each white square in the remaining white space as shown. album cover/ 1. Adhere the pink and green leaf stickers just left of center on the album cover. 2. Punch a 2 scalloped circle from Elation (blue with green swirls) and adhere to the center. 3. Using a white opaque pen, trace around the scallops. 4. Punch a 1½ circle from Shimmer (white). Using a blue journaling pen, draw a dashed line around the perimeter of the circle. 5. Curve the edges up on the pink star flower sticker to give it dimension. Adhere only the center to the middle of the white circle, using a large glazed brad in the center to secure it. Add this combined piece to the center of the blue scalloped circle with dimensional dots. 6. Trim off a small section of the green stem border sticker to embellish the flower as shown. pages 1 and 2/ 1. Page 1 is left alone. 2. Adhere a pink square to the center of to page 2 with the blue strip on the left side. 3. Add a photo to the remaining portion of the pink square, flush with the striped strip. 4. Embellish the top of the photo with a small flourish sticker. 5. Add title with small rose alpha stickers in the blue section. pg 5

6 pages 7 and 8/ 1. Adhere a blue square to the center of page 7 with the purple strip on right side. 2. Add a photo to the remaining portion of the blue square so that it is flush with the striped strip. 3. Adhere a blue square to the center of page 8 with the purple strip on the left side. 4. Add a photo to the remaining portion of the pink square, flush with the striped strip. 5. Add small flower branches stickers left from the border sticker on the blank card to both title blocks. 6. Add titles with small blue and rose alphabets to each purple strip. pages 3 and 4/ 1. Adhere a purple square to the center of page 3 with the pink strip on right side. 2. Add a photo to the remaining portion of the purple square so that it is flush with the striped strip. 3. Adhere a pink square to the center of page 4 with the pink strip on the left side. 4. Add a photo to the remaining portion of the pink square, flush with the striped strip. 5. Add small flower and separate flourish sticker to the bottom left corner of page Add titles with small blue alphabet to each pink strip. pages 5 and 6/ 1. Adhere the white block with spring to the center of page 5 and the white block with flowers to the center of page Add journaling with a blue pen. pages 9 and 10 and back cover/ 1. Adhere a pink square to the center of page 9 with the blue strip on the right side. 2. Add a photo to the remaining portion of the pink square so that it is flush with the striped strip. 3. Embellish a small flower sticker with a small glazed brad and adhere it in the upper right corner of the title block. 4. Add title with small rose alpha stickers in the blue section. 5. Page 10 and the back cover are left as they are. pg 6

7 inserts/ 1. The inserts are 5 x5 squares and can be made up of two photos back to back or a photo backed with any of the scraps of paper left over. 2. To make them a tag, simply punch a hole at the middle of one edge and tie a piece of ribbon through to use as a pull. 3. For the inserts on the example, only 1 photo was used and each was backed with Fields, a green floral. pg 7
