1 Cupcake Box Gift Set Designed By: Amanda Corbet June 2012 Do you need a really bright and fun gift to celebrate someone s birthday? Well this set has it all for you! There are instructions to create this fun pink card, gift bag, and cupcake box set that is sure to make anyone s day! Cupcake Box Instructions Step 1 Cut one 7-5/8 x 7-5/8 piece of Strawberry Slush card stock. Score as shown below on your Simply Scored. Use Paper Snips to trim on the lines indicated with red. Apply Sticky Strip in the locations indicated with the blue lines. This will be the outside of the box bottom. Flip the card stock over so you see the inside. Apply Sticky Strip in the locations indicated with the green lines. Fold on all the score lines.

2 /8 6-5/ /8 6-5/8 Step 2 Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the small tabs one at a time and adhere them inside the adjoining side to form the box shape (Step 2a). Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the large tabs one at a time, fold them down inside the box, and adhere them to the walls of the box (Step 2b). Step 2a Step 2b Step 3 Cut one 5-3/8 x 5-3/8 piece of Strawberry Slush card stock. Score as shown below on your Simply Scored. Use Paper Snips to cut in the locations indicated with the red lines. Apply Sticky Strip in the locations indicated with the blue lines. Fold on all of the score lines.

3 1/ /8 4-7/8 1/ /8 4-7/8 Step 3 Step 4 Use the third from smallest Window Frames Framelits. Position it in the center of the card stock and run it through the Big Shot (Step 4a). Remove the Sticky Strip from the small corner tabs and adhere it inside the adjoining side to form the box shape (Step 4b). Step 4a Step 4b Step 5 Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the long tabs and adhere the corners of each tab to the next one (Step 5a). Remove any remaining Sticky Strip and adhere it into the center of the box from Step 2 (Step 5b).

4 Step 5a Step 5b Step 6 Cut four 3/4 x 3-3/8 pieces of Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). Use Anywhere Glue Stick to adhere the DSP onto the outside sides of the box bottom (Step 6a). Cut one 26 piece of Whisper White ¼ stitched grosgrain ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around the box and tie it into a knot (Step 6b). Use the tip of your Paper Snips to place a few Glue Dots underneath the ribbon to hold it in place. Step 6a Step 6b Step 7 Cut one 10-1/2 x 10-1/2 piece of Quatrefancy DSP window sheet. Score as shown below on the Simply Scored. Use Paper Snips or your Stampin Trimmer to cut on the locations indicated with the red lines. Use a Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin Pierce Mat to pierce holes in approximately the locations indicated with the blue dots below. Use your Bone Folder to fold on all the score lines.

5 3-1/ /2 7 Step 7 Step 8 Cut four 24 long pieces of Calypso Coral Baker s Twine. Thread one through a sewing needle with a large eye (Step 8a). Insert the needle from the outside of the window sheet to the inside of the window sheet on one tab. Insert it through the second hole in the adjoining side bringing the thread and needle to the outside. Insert it through the third hole on the first side bringing the need to the inside of the window sheet (Step 8b). Keep alternating holes like this to work to the bottom hole then back up to the top hole. It s almost like lacing up a shoe. Pull the baker s twine tight and tie it into a bow. Use Paper Snips to trim the Baker s Twine (Step 8c). Repeat on the three remaining corners to form the top of the cupcake box (Step 8d). Step 8a Step 8b

6 Step 8c Step 8d Step 9 Stamp the greeting from Bring on the Cake onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock in Raspberry Ripple ink. Cut out the greeting with the Apothecary Accents Framelits. Use the more square shaped Apothecary Accents Framelits to cut a scrap of Strawberry Slush card stock. Adhere the greeting onto the Strawberry Slush label. Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels onto the greeting label (Step 9a). Use Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the label onto the front of the box top. Place the box top in the box bottom (Step 9b). Step 9a Step 9b Step 10 Cut one 4-1/4 x 11 piece of Strawberry Slush card stock. With the 11 side against the top of your Simply Scored, score at 5-1/2. Fold on the score line. Cut one 3-1/2 x 5 piece of Quatrefancy DSP. Adhere the DSP into the center of your card front. Step 10

7 Step 11 Cut one 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Whisper White card stock. Cut one 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Raspberry Ripple card stock. Place the Whisper White card stock on top of the Raspberry Ripple card stock. Position the Apothecary Accents Framelits into the center of the card stock and run it through the Big Shot to cut both pieces at the same time (Step 11a). Use your Stampin Trimmer to cut approximately 1/8 off each end of the Raspberry Ripple card stock just until you have two separate pieces (Step 11b). Step 11a Step 11b Step 12 Adhere the halves of the Raspberry Ripple card stock behind the Whisper White card stock so that just a small amount of the Raspberry Ripple card stock shows inside the label shape creating a mat (Step 12a). Use your Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin Pierce Mat, and Essentials Piercing Pack to pierce holes around the Apothecary Accents window. Add Stampin Dimensionals onto the backside of the Whisper White/Raspberry Ripple card stock (Step 12b) and adhere it onto the card front. Set aside the Raspberry Ripple label shape for later. Step 12a Step 12b Step 13 Cut one 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Whisper White card stock. Stamp the greeting from Really Good Greetings onto the card stock in Raspberry Ripple ink. Use the third from smallest Window Frames Framelits to cut out the shape in the Big Shot. Adhere the greeting label onto the card front in the center of the cut out label with Stampin Dimensionals. Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels onto the greeting label and at the top and bottom of the Apothecary Accents window. Cut one 20 piece of Whisper White ¼ stitched grosgrain ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around the bottom of the card front; tie it into a knot, and trim the ribbon ends with Paper Snips.

8 Step 13 Step 14 Now we re going to start on the gift bag. Cut one 10-1/4 x 12 piece of Quatrefancy DSP. Score as shown below on your Simply Scored. Use Paper Snips to cut in the locations indicated with the red lines. Apply Sticky Strip in the locations indicated with the blue lines. This will be the outside of your gift bag. Flip the DSP over to the inside and apply Sticky Strip in the location indicated with the green line. 1/2 2-3/4 6-1/4 8-1/ /2 Step 14

9 Step 15 Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the long side tab and adhere it inside the opposite end of the DSP to form a rectangular tube (Step 15a). Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the bottom flap with the adhesive on the outside. Fold in the flap. Fold in the smaller side flaps. Remove the Sticky Strip liner from the remaining large bottom flap and adhere it to the bottom of the bag. Use your fingers to push in the sides of the bag while pinching the front and back of the bag together (Step 15b). Step 15a Step 15b Step 16 Take the Raspberry Ripple label from Step 12 and fold it in half matching point to point. Use your Bone Folder to get a nice clean fold line. Hold the folded label over the top of your bag. Use a pencil to mark a dot right in the corners where the curve on the pointed end meets the round curve (Step 16a). Use a craft knife to cut a slit just large enough for the ribbon in each of the locations that you marked with the pencil (Step 16b). Step 16a Step 16b Step 17 Cut one 15 piece of Whisper White ¼ stitched grosgrain ribbon. Use the point of your Paper Snips to help push one end of your ribbon through a slit in the front of your box. Then push the same ribbon end through the other slit from the inside of the box (Step 17a). Tie the ribbon into a bow and use Paper Snips to trim the ribbon ends (Step 17b).

10 Step 17a Step 17b Step 18 Take the Raspberry Ripple label and apply Sticky Strip on the inside of the label from the point up to the fold (Step 18a). Use the Essentials Piercing Pack, Stampin Pierce Mat, and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce around the edges of the label half that does not have the Sticky Strip on the inside. Remove the Sticky Strip liner and adhere the label onto the back of the bag. Insert the other label point behind the bow on the bag front to hold the bag closed (Step 18b). Step 18a Step 18b Step 19 Cut one 4 x 4 piece of Raspberry Ripple card stock. Run it through the Big Shot with the third from smallest Window Frames Framelits. Cut one 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Strawberry Slush card stock. Run it through the Big Shot with the second from smallest Window Frames Framelits. Use your Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin Pierce Mat, and Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce holes around the edge of both window frame shapes. Stamp the greeting from Bring on the Cake onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock in Raspberry Ripple ink. Cut out the greeting in the Big Shot with the smallest Window Frames Framelits. Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel into each of the four corners of the window frame. Adhere this label onto the Strawberry Slush label with a Stampin Dimensional. Adhere this layer onto the Raspberry Ripple label with a few Stampin Dimensionals. Adhere the layered labels onto the bag front with a few Stampin Dimensionals. Your Cupcake Box Gift Set is complete!
