Please call to register. Reminder: If Harlan County Schools are cancelled due to weather, any Family & Consumers Science workshops scheduled for that day will also be cancelled. Jewelry Workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 8th and Friday, March 18th at 10:30 a.m. Those attending will be making a bracelet. Cost is $7. Purple beads were not available in the quantity needed, so the color of the beads will differ from the picture. Spring Scrap Fest is Saturday, March 12th, 10:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Cost is $10. See the enclosed flyer for more details. Spring Cleaning Day Green Spring is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23rd at 10:00 a.m. We will partner up and make cleaning products. Please bring a spray bottle with you. We will also have a swap party. Please bring a gently used item that you no longer want, such as a book, purse, jewelry, accessory, home decorating item, etc. We will be trading items with others. Cooking for 1 or 2 is the next Homemakers Training School Lesson and will be taught on Thursday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. Judi O Bryan from Laurel Co. will be the instructor. We will sample foods prepared in a cup. County Homemakers Council will meet on Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m. Jeremy Williams will teach a Shitake Mushroom Program on Tuesday, April 5th at 11:00 a.m. Cooking with Extension: Wrap & Roll Tuesday, April 5th at 12:00 noon. We will be making a sandwich in a thin bread, such as a tortilla or flat bread.
