The card was mailed from Hanna in 1913 to Winchester Ontario. Interesting, there is a door at the second floor and no balcony. So nice! $125.00

4 Item Canadian Troops in Alexandria , first card showing first mail convoy arriving in Alexandria (Egypt) and the second card showing servicemen playing baseball with the Commandant and Sergeant-Major observing. Seldom seen Canadian Troops RPPCs in Egypt. $ SOLD Some Canadian Battalions were trained in Egypt and became part of the Australia-New Zealand Army Corp. They were appointed as part of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force and assigned to military action in Gallipoli, Turkey.

8 Item Official cover free to Argentina 1908, OHMS Albert Peter Low (Dept of Mines) free franked cover from Ottawa to Argentina (b/s). Free franking was not allowed outside Canada so the cover presumably slipped through. The cover is from Albert Peter Low, he commanded the Neptune Expedition of 1903 and 1904 that claimed Canada s sovereignty of the Arctic Islands. Later, Low was named director of the Geological Survey of Canada and became Deputy Minister when the office was incorporated in the new Dept of Mines. $ SOLD Item Conservative in Yukon 1947, George Black MP (Progressive Conservative representing the Yukon from 1921 to 1953) free franked cover, 4 War OHMS perfin added and tied by roller to pay postage to Alaska.
