Stamp The at Show October 29, As my father was returning home from the Canadian Stamp and Coin show held in Mississauga, he parked his van in the underground parking and took a load of material to his condo. Three thieves followed him home, two rolled under the parking garage door and broke into his van (punching the locks with a tool) and stole two, possibly three boxes of philatelic material. Box 1 The first box was a clear plas c tub containing worldwide mint modern souvenir sheets and blocks from countries Gabon to Luxembourg, typically 1980s to 2013 with an appoximate catalogue value of $6,000. Box 2 The second box was a grey plas c box with Canadian postal history, miscellaneous covers, priced from $5 to $20 typically (one of my cheap cover boxes), with a retail value of approximately $5,000. The police inves gated immediately, sent their forensic team to collect evidence, have over 2 GB of high resolu on video and are pursuing a number of leads. I m offering a substan al $5,000 reward in an effort to make the material too hot to handle. Plus it helps get the word out. And, I would love dearly to pay the reward and see the thieves convicted. The police have high resolu on video. Plus they have the vehicle used on camera, turning around in the driveway of the condo. This unfortunate event will not sway me in my dedica on to my business, and enjoyment of this hobby. The thieves remind us of the world we escape when we enter our hobby. We escape to the friendly, intelligent, enjoyable world of philately, with lifelong friends. We ll carry on and have fun. They can rot in hell. I ve handled just one cover and I suspect this is a fourth reported copy. Used from Montreal October 3, 1828 on outgoing mail to London, England 2/8 due, new earliest date. $2,000

4 Item #6. PAIR of 1c postal cards each mailed from Montreal to local address in 1895, and then R ED later with 1c Small Queens. The corrected address seems to be 128 St. Catherine St. A nice exhibit pair. $80

The first allowed at 1c rate, the 2nd was caused and shortpaid 1c, 2c due and the thirs was sent properly at the 2c le er rate. A great exhibit page for a regula ons exhibit or Edwardian exhibit. $60
