On the reverse is a very rare Bank Of New Brunswick date cancel. I believe this is the only New Brunswick Bill stamp document I have seen in 43 years. New Brunswick documents are very rare. 10 1924 Canada Life Insurance Company check payable to person in Newfoundland. in 1924 Newfoundland was not part of Canada thus any financial instruments required that tax be paid both in Canada & Newfoundland. Here is a rare document. 1956 Nova Scotia Halifax Law Library NSH7a - $1 rose carmine overprint on Writ of Summons document. When the fee was increased to $1 there were no $1 stamps available.

The solution was to simply overprint (handstamp) the old issue with the new fee of $1. The overprinted stamps are quite scarce - documents are even scarcer. Canada Consular Fee stamps used on legal document are very rare and much rarer then when used on passport pages. They are very scarce thus and even pairs are difficult to find. A large multiple like this is rarely seen and what makes it even nicer is that they are well centered.

Jump numbers were created when the printer applied control number to the stamps from top to bottom rather than from left to right. They are very scarce thus and even pairs are difficult to find. A large multiple like this is rarely seen and what makes it even nicer is that they are well centered. This value is normally poorly centered, so this VF strip is very unusual and attractive. Cancels like these are rarely seen. During my 43 years in business I have handled thousands of Alberta revenue stamps but this is only the 2nd small group of such cancels I have seen.
