The Non-Resident and Non-Resident Alien are very rare and routinely bring double and sometimes up to 4 times face value if you can find them at all. 3 stamps are UNLISTED in our van Dam Canadian revenue stamp catalogue. 6 FSC10 - $5 black, red control numbers x 2 on 1937 Supreme Court of Canada Judgment, 2 page document. 2 page document, but this one is particularly nice because all text, revenue stamps, fancy red embossed court seal as well as the red ribbons are on the front page. A very minor bit of aging does not detract. Catalogue value of just the 2 revenue stamps is $2400. An absolute bargain at $1695 FSC12-$5 black, purple control numbers x 2 on 1919 Supreme Court of Canada "Judgment" on appeal from the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. 2 page document. Fancy red embossed seal and ribbons of the Supreme Court on page 1, revenue stamps on page 2. Previous owner folded the document in such a way that you can actually see the FSC10 as well as part of the first page with ribbon. some separation which is not surprising after almost 90 years. FSC12 very rare on document - $995 FWM35 - RARE 10c black with red control # on1922 "CERTIFICATE FOR THE TRADER". also has FWM50a, 52a pair and FWM55a. Nice mixed usage of Queen Victoria and Edward VII. The FWM35 is a very rare revenue stamp with most copies that I have seen having faults, this one is VF used and on document. This is the only FWM35 I have seen on document. A spectacular Showpiece, VF for this --- $350 British Columbia - 8th issue - Black & White Photographic Essays. Mounted on 3 pages with notes on the back of the large 30c photo Essay. The blocks of 10 of the 10c, 30c, 50c and $1 show printer's guides and this was apparently the plate layout as per notes - Details on these, name of the printer, etc. are all provided on the reverse of the large 30c photo Essay. The 30c Essay is 6.5 x 10", the blocks are about actual size of the stamps.
