Gals, stop in, pick up your Christmas Wish List and fill it out. Take it home and give it to your favorite Santa. We will have the store open on Thursday Dec 6 from 5:30-7:30 just for your favorite fella to do his shopping. We will help him find the items on your list and even gift wrap them for free. There will be cookies and hot chocolate while he shops. If we don t have an item in stock we will get it ordered the next day. He will love it! You will love it! Stuff Your Stocking 2018 December 1st through 14th I m so excited! I have been pouring over catalogs and surfing the internet for just the right items to offer you during our Stuff Your Stocking event. Each day from December 1 through Dec 14 th (no Sundays) we will send out an with an item at a specially discounted price. Call the store or stop in (no s, please) to reserve and pay for your item each day. Now you can stuff your own stocking with just what YOU want for Christmas! We will hold the items for you until the event is over and you can have your special Santa come in and pick them up for you.

2 The first weekend of Quilt Retreat Feb 8 10, 2019 still has openings. Call soon! Now is the time to snuggle up with some warm winter knitting and crochet. We have some really yummy chunky yarns from King Cole and The Alpaca Yarn Company. Because these work up really fast you would still have time to create a handmade gift for Christmas. Recently I made a trip to South Dakota to visit my mom. I always have to visit the local quilt shop that is in Sioux City, Iowa. While I was there I saw a very cute envelope wallhanging that is perfect for displaying Christmas cards. The designer actually works in the store so I got to talk to her and order some patterns. She was so excited to have her design travel all the way to Wichita. Ruth whipped up our model and it s on display.

3 One of our local designers Deb Johnson has been at it again and has created this cute Christmas tablerunner that would be perfect in any of your holiday displays. I love gnomes! When I saw this pattern I couldn t wait to get started. I used lots of grunge dots to create the little guys. I chose to make the mushrooms in my quilt but there is also an option to make trees if you prefer. Who Who Me? We have the kits to make this cute little wool pincushion. It stitches up so fast and is stuffed with ground walnut shells which we have in lavender or unscented.

4 This beauty was stitched by Ruth and shows her love of all things neutral. Hollow Star is the pattern and it features a 60 degree diamond ruler. This quilt would also be fabulous as a Quilts of Valor project all done in red, white and blue. This furry Alpine yarn was a huge hit during the Yarn Hop. This super soft cowl is an easy, fast project using size 15 needles and 2 skeins of yarn. Betcha can t make just one!

5 Lush The new block of the month Lush is designed by Wing and a Prayer Designs. It features 14 of the newest Tonga batiks in rich burgundies, greens and navies on a palette of soft creams and blush. This is a 10 month program for $28.50 per month. It started at the beginning of November, but it s not too late to get signed up. The Storytellers This 12 month block of the month features Edita Sitar s fabric line Sequoia. Patterns include detailed instructions as well as biographies of twelve female authors who have had an impact on literature. The finished quilt measurement is 102 x 102 and the cost is $25.99 per month. Queen and Her Court II This is a remake of the original Wing and a Prayer Design 2009 pattern but has been updated with fresh block designs and piecing techniques to reflect today s quilting styles. The fabrics from Marcus Brothers are a perfect match for this lovely queen sized quilt. This one will start after the first of the year. We are taking sign-ups now and it will be priced in the mid $20 range.
