You ll have access to our sewing machines, design wall, cutting mats, irons and of course, a knowledgeable teacher. 1/5, 1/18, 2/2, 2/15, 3/2, 3/15, 4/6, 4/19 two session each day: 12-4pm OR 4-8pm Quilt Lab - $30/year Quilt Lab is members-only club were we experiment and grow as quilters and artists. We have monthly "challenge" themes, share inspiration and ideas, and critique each others' work. Second Thursday of the month, 6-8pm Intro to English Paper Piecing - $85 Learn the easy-to-master hand stitching technique and learn to make the Lucy Boston block. We cover various techniques for basting & joining your pieces as well as fussy cutting and design options. Wednesday, 1/9 1-4pm OR 6-9pm Friday, 1/11 11am-5pm Empire Quilters Guild Broiderie Perse Workshop - $100 Teacher: Mary Cargill This versatile handwork technique creates a scene using printed designs on fabric appliquéd onto a background fabric. This class will introduce the basics, using a vase shape filled with flowers. Longarm Certification Class - $150 We offer longarm rental on our 18 AQPS Lenni longarm quilting machine to quilt your own quilts. Take this class to be certified to rent time on the longarm. Choose one 11am-4pm session: 1/11, 1/19, 1/25, 2/1, 2/9, 2/15, 3/8, 3/29, 4/20, 4/26 Wednesdays, 1/16, 2/20, 4/17 1-4pm EPP Social - $40 EPP Social is a great time to get some work done on your current English paper piecing (EPP) project, and have a great time with fellow EPP fans while you're doing it! Sew Organized: Thread Dispenser - $130 You ll have no more tangled jumbles of thread when you make and use these handy thread cases. Special slots in each pocket enable you to easily thread a needle without removing the spools from their pockets. Saturday, 1/ pm Intro to Machine Sewing - $60 Learn the basics of using a sewing machine and get some practice by making a small pin cushion. No sewing experience necessary. Thursdays, 1/17, 3/7, OR 4/18 two sessions each day: 1-3pm OR 6-8pm 1

Patchwork & Quilting Basics - $199 In this two-session class, you will learn all the basics to making a quilt while making a mini quilt. Saturday, 1/19 10am-5pm OR Tuesdays, 4/9 & 4/16 10am-1pm OR 6-9pm Friday Sew-In - $25 A self-guided evening where participants bring their own projects to work on while bouncing ideas off each other, sharing inspiration, and having fun. There is no instructor for Sew-in. Fridays, 1/25, 2/22, 3/29 OR 4/26 6-8pm Beginner Sewing: Pajama Pants - $135 These easy pajama pants are a great project for the beginner sewer and the seasoned veteran alike. Variations include long or Capri length, with or without pockets, elastic waist or combo of elastic and tie waist. Saturday, 1/ pm Intro to Hand Quilting - $95 Teacher: Tahli de Courcy In this class, we will cover the basics of quilting by hand. Working on a small sample piece, students will learn about basting, tracing quilting designs, and have time to practice the hand quilting stitch using a quilting hoop. Wednesday, 1/30 1-4pm OR 6-9pm Saturday, 2/2 12-4pm Intro to Hand Embroidery - $125 Slow down and learn the art of hand embroidery! Embroidery can be used to decorate everything from tea towels to clothing, and it s an easy way to make store-bought items unique. Learn the most-used embroidery stitches while creating an attractive sampler. Tuesday, 2/5 10-1pm OR 6-9pm Beyond the Curve - $75 Join Justin to learn all the tips and tricks to easily sew curves using only 3 pins. This class is great if you have been hesitant to sew curves in the past or have tried on your own and struggled. Intro to Patchwork & Quilting - $325 Learn the basics of quilt making! Everything from how to read a pattern and use a rotary cutter, to quilting and binding will be covered. We ll be using our free Charming pattern, which is comprised of easy-to-piece squares and rectangles. Wednesdays, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27 & 3/6 choose either 1-3pm OR 6-8pm 2

3 Friday, 2/8 3-5pm Rulers for Rookies - $125 Teacher: Lisa Calle So you re not ready for the Major Leagues when it comes to quilting with rulers, no worries. Join Lisa in Rulers for Rookies and be ready for three full hours of ruler action covering quilting straight lines and curves on a home machine. Saturday, 2/9 10am-5pm Mastering the Mini - $199 Teacher: Lisa Calle This class is for all skill levels! You too can make a beautiful whole cloth mini quilt like this! Lisa will show you her step-by-step process for creating an heirloom one-of-a-kind miniature whole cloth quilt design while covering everything from fabric selection right on through to thread. Saturday, 2/ pm Sew Organized: Just In Case - $135 These handy folding organizers feature two inner pockets made from mesh and vinyl for easy visibility of contents. Each pocket has a zipper closure no need to worry about things falling out! Ellie the Elephant Stuffie - $115 Learn the basics of sewing stuffed animals while making Ellie the Elephant! Ellie finishes at 13 tall and looks good in all sorts of fabrics and colors. This class is perfect for confident beginners who know the basics of sewing on a sewing machine. Saturday, 2/ pm Intro to Free Motion Quilting - $99 Teacher: Ivete Tecedor Quilt impressive-looking designs on your quilt using your home sewing machine. We ll cover basic techniques that make FMQ fun, and teach 3 versatile patterns that you can use as allover designs or as custom quilting on your projects. Tuesday, 3/5 12-3pm OR 5-8pm Friday, 3/8 12-6pm Embrace the Chaos Workshop - $145 Teacher: Libs Elliott Using only paper and pencils no computers required! Participants walk through a series of worksheet exercises that mimic the programming language that Libs uses to generate her quilt patterns. Design a unique layout all your own! Saturday, 3/9 12-6pm Weight of Love Workshop - $145 Teacher: Libs Elliott We ll spend the day making the Weight of Love your very own by customizing it with your selection of solids and prints, and building it using the Y-seam piecing method. Intro to Quiltmaking by Hand - $315 Teacher: Tahli de Courcy Learn all the steps to making a mini quilt entirely by hand, including drawing blocks, cutting fabrics, piecing, basting, and tying or quilting. This is the right class if you want to forego the sewing machine and choose the slow stitching route with your quilting. Tuesdays, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26 & 4/2 1-4pm Free Motion Quilting on the Longarm - $155 Teacher: Jen Strauser Explore the possibilities of modern free motion quilting on the longarm at Gotham Quilts. Learn dozens of free motion quilting designs from the included book, Free-Motion Quilting with Angela Walters, by drawing them on paper and quilting them on a practice quilt. Friday, 3/15 12:30pm-4:30pm The Squareburst Quilt - $135 Complete this top in a day! A modern take on the dresden plate, this striking quilt can feature any combination of colors, or all the colors! Justin will help students with their fabric choices and layout to make sure everyone has a pleasing gradation. Saturday, 3/23 10am-5pm Hexatopia English Paper Piecing - $210 This three-session class is designed to liberate and empower your English Paper Piecing adventures. We will be leaving basic store-bought shapes in the dust, and instead draw from an infinite vocabulary of polygons to create intricate hexagonal blocks! Wednesdays, 3/13, 3/20 & 3/27 1-4pm OR 6-9pm Sew Organized: Power Trip Carrying Case - $165 This versatile organizer is the perfect size for carrying your sewing projects, your travel necessities or the cables and chargers for all your technology. 5 Precise Patchwork - $160 Ready to take your patchwork to the next level? This class is for anyone that knows the basics, but is looking to expand their skills and improve their accuracy. We ll use blocks from The Quilt Block Cookbook to create a unique sampler quilt while learning common quilt pattern elements. Train Case - $165 Take beauty on the go and look stylish while doing so! Whether you re globetrotting or touring closer to home, you ll love these stylish cases for carrying cosmetics, jewelry, first aid supplies, and more. The Diamondscape Quilt - $115 Learn all the tips and tricks to making quick and easy half square triangles using a shortcut. Justin will then help you lay out and assemble your half square triangles to make the quilt quickly and accurately with tips on achieving perfectly aligned seams. Ruler Work Quilting on the Longarm - $135 Teacher: Jen Strauser Want to quilt straight lines on your quilt with a longarm? Then you ll need to learn ruler work! Come and play with the new line of rulers from Angela Walters. We will get comfortable using rulers on the longarm, then explore creating motifs and fills to make our quilts sparkle. Friday, 4/19 12:30pm-4:30pm Saturday, 4/ pm Beginner Sewing: Geranium Dress - $155 The Geranium Dress is a sweet and incredibly versatile little girl s dress pattern that includes two views and endless possibilities for mixing and matching! Children s clothes are a great first garment project, becasue they re smaller, faster, and a lot easier to fit. 5
