Due to its conical cutting bevel shape, the rule cuts easily into very hard material, supported by its oscillating off-rolling cutting point. 11 cutting Wavy Edge Rules A straight body with a wavy edge, producing waved profiles on the box. These rules can be produced from any type of steel rules. Our delivery range also contains flat waves, such as saw-wavings, safety-edge protections and wave geometries suitable for automatic rule processors. We produce these rules as well waved through the whole body. The perforation is burr-free. Gap and cut of standard pitches are wider or identical to the Rule s thickness. On top of the standard types, we produce asymmetrical pitches as well as well as gap and cut smaller than the material s thickness. Asymmetrical Perforating Rules In case of Asymmetrical Perforating Rules, pitches and the number of repetitions are free to choose. Long cuts, gaps or special-micro perforating parts can be produced in one piece. 13 perforating Special-Micro Perforating Rules These Rules, also known as "invisible perforation", provide a unique, very fine perforation. Depth of gap is variable, depending on the thickness of material being diecut. Pitches are produced according to customers requirements. Standards can be produced in coils. Standards in 0.6mm depth are: 30tpi (0.4:0.4mm), 40tpi (0.3:0.3mm), 50tpi (0.25:0.3mm), 60tpi (0.25:0.25mm) and 72tpi (0.2:0.2mm), produced from hardness H5. (lcb) Crease/Cutting Rules with flat crease To achieve functional bending edges in corrugated board it is necessary to combine a cut and a crease. In addition to standard pitches we produce asynchronous pitches as well. The creasing top is without any burr in order to minimize fractures in the liner. 14 perforating Glue Flap Rules This rule roughens the surface of the diecut product and supports the gluing process, e.g. on box flaps. Waves and pitches according to customers request. Printed examples: T=5.0mm T=3.5mm Zipper Rules A Zip-A-Tear rule, being used pairwise to produce a tear away strip in a box. Standard is 2/3 straight part; 1/3 angled part at a 45 degree angle. A huge variety of other types is available on request. Printed examples (scale 1:1): Tissue Perforating Rules These Rules are for fast opening of shelf ready packaging. 15 Creasing Creasing Rules Our creasing rule excels due to its precise radius and the exact shape of the creasing edge. The changeover from the creasing angle to the body shows no burr. We produce all required creasing rule types, as well as special dimensions. (round) (flat) Facet Creasing Rules For finer creasing with a standard body. Especially for decorative and high-value packaging as well as for cut/crease plates (Drilled counter plates). Double Creasing Rules (round) Provides two creases side by side, which allow a better flow of the material during the creasing process. Especially recommended for multicomponent materials. (round) Laser Crease Rules One-piece creasing rule, produced with highest precision, available in all possible thickness configurations. The wider creasing top allows creasing widths up to 8 pt (2.84 mm), whereas the body fits into a standard laser slot. All types are suitable for automatic rule processors. Could be produced as well as Trufold or P-Crease Rule. Available in all dimensions and types. P-Crease Rules (flat) (round) (Trufold) This special geometry provides enough space for the corrugated board to expand. This way the creasing can take better shape without bursting the liner. Also available as Laser Crease. (round) (flat) Half Crease Rules To produce wider creasing channels in boxes. The mirrored assembly of 2 half crease or laser crease rules can double the width of the laser head, i.e. 12 pt (4 mm) or 16 pt (5,68 mm). (round)

16 Stripping Stripping Rules For waste ejection after the diecutting process. Plane edges on both sides of the rules. Used for standard die cutting speeds. (flat) Esopick Stripping Rules An e+s development to eject critical pieces. Recommended for the ejection of strong and thick cardboards or corrugated boards. For maximum performance in autoplaten machines. Stripping Rules with Perf For stripping at high die cutting speed. The teeth fix the waste, hold it exactly and strip it out safely. 17 Stripping Waved Stripping Rules The plane angles on both edges of the rule are used for standard die cutting speeds. The waving allows one rule to do the job of two side by side stripping rules.
