Our know how about metal cutting band sawing technology helps us to produce our saw blades which are made of the best materials on our modern welding and grinding machines. Company MEBA offers the optimal saw blade for each bandsaw machine. From high speed Bimetal saw blades for almost all materials to the special blades for hardened material, the product range is on stock. The MEBA Micro-sprayer works with an non oxidation spraying oil for metal cutting. The great advantage against normal coolant is, that the lubrication for the saw blade is much better with less friction. The MEBA micro sprayer works with impulses and guarantees minimum need of the spraying oil. In order to execute a qualitatively high-class cut it is necessary to choose the correct saw blade. Additionally the correct band tension of the saw blade has a great importance. Manufacture under careful control, a continous quality is assured. By the production of variable lengths from Coils on stock, a short delivery time is guaranteed and storehouse costs of our customers are reduced. Through our steady investigation in the technique of band saws we are able to offer our customers an optimal solution in the technology of material cutting. Visible sign of our high quality standards is the certification DIN EN ISO The MEBA tension meter guarantees an optimal cut and optimize the life of the blades while reducing the damage of the bandsaw blades with too high blade tension and avoids poor cutting with too low blade tension. MEBA attaches a great importance to a complete offer range in the bandsaw technology. Because of strict environment conditions and more problems with the disposal of the coolant, MEBA have a new coolant method with a friendly environment solution. Also MEBA has all kind of coolant and lubrication good which are needed for metal material cutting. The hydraulic oil for our metal bandsawing machines to the spraying oil for our micro sprayer is packaged in different friendly environment units all available from stock.

3 MEBA - Bimetal MEBA Bimetal "S" MEBA Bimetal saw blades are manufactured by pre-fabricated band steel. The carrier band is connected solidly with the flanks of tooth by an electron beam welding process. The column support is produced with 4 % chrome as all other high quality Bi-metal bandsaw blades. With a high proportion of cobalt about 8 % they become a wear resistant toothed cutter and the reduced amount of tungsten and carbon gives a special quality for the flanks of tooth for cutting vibration generating materials suchas pipes, profiles and bundle cutting. 4 MEBA Profiles and Bundles "PB" MEBA High performance saw blades H1 and H2 MEBA special bandsaw blades with the quality "PB", H1 and "H2" are used for extreme cutting tasks. With the help of higher alloying constituents we have reached the heat-resisting quality and the wear resistance is considerable improved. With the optimized tooth geometry for the best machining with an extremely high tool life with the best cutting quality guaranteed. So the cutting of high-alloyed and special alloyed materials with the special bandsaw blades "PB", H1 and "H2" is much more economical. The MEBA product range includes a variable tooth pitch with different toothing. Our saw blades are generally variable side set. This side setting makes possible to produce cuts with low swing and low noise. The teeth are repeated left / right side set.

7 Sawing in of new bandsaw blades The sharp cutting tooth of the MEBA-bandsaw blades achieves high cutting efficiency with an extremely small edge radius. To have the best tool life it is most important to saw in the new bandsaw blades correctly. Find out in relation to the material type and the size the correct cutting speed (m/min) and the correct feed (mm/min). To sawing in the new saw blade it is necessary to reduce the normal feed by 50 %. So you can avoid the sharp cutting tooth being damaged by a big chip thickness. New bandsaw blades can tend at the beginning to vibrate and make an singing noise.. If it so, please reduce slightly the cutting speed. On small workpieces we commend to cut 300 mm 2 of the cutting material to sawing in the new bandsaw blades. At big workpiece dimensions we commend a time for the sawing in approx. 15 min. After sawing in of the new bandsaw blades increase the feed slowly to the normal value. Picture rule 30:1 New cutting tooth with extreme small edge radius. With a correct sawing in of the new saw blade it becomes an optimal rounded edge radius. Too much feed while sawing in the new blade can produce damage at the cutting edge. Correctly sawing in guarantees a long tool life of your new bandsaw blade Safety legislation Please notice, that you always need protective hand guards and protective glasses for the work on the machine. Please remove the tooth protection only after the rigging of the bandsaw blade. During the run of the machine please keep the bandwheel covers closed. Please positioning all security devises correctly to observe the security rules. Please observe the security instructions in the instruction manual of the manufacturer.

8 MEBA-accessories MEBA-tension meter in the wooden box The optimal saw blade tension is the basic need for a long working life of the bandsaw blades and for the best cutting quality. With the MEBA tension meter you can monitor the tension pressure of the bandsawing machine. We commend for our MEBA saw blades a blade tension of 300 N/mm 2. With the MEBA tension meter you can avoid an early break of the bandsaw blades because of too high saw blade tension, and avoid mistake cuttings with blade deflection because of low blade tension. No. W MESS00005 MEBA micro-sprayer for the optimal application of lubricant The MEBA micro sprayer is an minimum lubrication tool which is based on a friendly environment solution for the coolant. It works with a solid oxidation high efficiency spraying oil for the machining of metal. The great advantage against the normal coolant methods is the much higher lubrication and so there is less friction on the bandsaw blade. The micro sprayer works with an impulse and guarantees so a minimum need of the spraying oil. This micro sprayer is not exclusice to metal bandsawing machines. With other spraying heads, deliverable by MEBA, it can be used in all areas of the metal cutting. The micro sprayer can also connected without problems on existing machines. MEBA ECO Micro-Sprayer MEBA ECO Micro-Sprayer (only for MEBA Profi-Line 230, 260 and MEBA Eco-Line 335, 410) MEBA coolant and lubrication fluids for all metal cuttings MEBA supplies the complete coolant and lubrication fluids which are needed in metal material cutting with 10 liter canisters directly from stock. There is the MEBA-spraying fluid which is only produced for the micro sprayer, also the coolantant the hydraulic oil which is needed for our metal bandsawing machines. Art.
