FETHER LODGE SE CINET SSEMLY GUIDE WELCOME TO FETHER LODGE CINETS Thank you for purchasng Feather Lodge cabnets. You are on your way to a beautful, new ktchen, vanty, or closet.

Our cabnets go together easly, but you may want to ask a frend for assstance when puttng together larger cabnets. One of you can algn the components whle the other screws them together.

1 FETHER LODGE SE CINET SSEMLY GUIDE WELCOME TO FETHER LODGE CINETS Thank you for purchasng Feather Lodge cabnets. You are on your way to a beautful, new ktchen, vanty, or closet. There are a few smple tools necessary, and some set up of your preparaton area before you get started. Our cabnets go together easly, but you may want to ask a frend for assstance when puttng together larger cabnets. One of you can algn the components whle the other screws them together. Once you get gong, assembly gets easer as you mprove your learnng curve! Expect t to take between mnutes per cabnet. y assemblng your own cabnets, you are savng the thousands that companes charge for sem-custom cabnetry. STEP 1 PREPRE CINETS FOR SSEMLY Equpment: Phllps Head screw drver, flat head screw drver, cordless electrc drll wth the flat and phllps attachment bts (not necessary, but s a tme saver). and rubber mallet. Prep rea: drt free carpet or the foam sheets and cardboard from your cabnet wll provde you wth a scratch free cushoned work area. To save your back, workng at table heght s always a good dea. Unpack your cabnet components and spread out the panels on your smooth prep surface. Keep tools and the package of hardware screws, brackets, etc close by, but not under any of the panels. Feather Lodge shps your cabnets wth the hnges alread secured to the doorframe faces, makng nstallaton qucker. We predrll all holes for easy acceptance of our hardware. ll hardware, mountng brackets, shelves, drawer pulls and screws(plus extra) are provded. Hardware s packaged separate from the cabnet panels so there s no damage. Dovetaled drawers can be tapped together wth a rubber mallet. PGE

3 STEP 3 TTCH S TO FRONT Place front of cabnet face down onto padded work surface. Lne up fasteners on the sde of the cabnet to the front of the cabnets. Lock fasteners n place. Repeat wth other sde of cabnet. FRONT FSTENER FRONT FSTENER PGE 3

4 STEP 4 SLIDE IN CINET FLOOR PNEL Identfy the cabnet floor panel. It s easy to dentfy because t s only fnshed on one sde. Make sure that the fnshed sde s facng the nsde of the cabnet. Slde the cabnet floor panel nto the dado jont (the shallow groove runnng along both sdes of the cabnet, close to the bottom). It s easy to dentfy because t s only fnshed on one sde. Make sure that the fnshed sde s facng the nsde of the cabnet. Lne the back of the cabnet up wth the fasteners on the sdes of the cabnet, settng fasteners n place. Lock the back to the sdes usng the fasteners. UNFINISHED PORTION FCES OUT PGE 4

5 STEP 6 TOE KICK INSTLLTION Slde the toe kck nto place onto fasteners. Lock fasteners to the toe kck. CK PNEL TOE KICK STEP 7 INSTLLING SHELVING Slde clear acrylc clps nto predrlled holes along sdewalls of shelves at heght that works best for you. For a level shelf, count up the holes from the bottom before nstallng clps. SHELF CRYLIC SHELF CLIPS INNER WLL OF CINET PGE 5

6 STEP 8 SOFT CLOSE DRWER GLIDES In the back of the cabnet, at the level of the drawer, you wll fnd predrlled holes. Identfy the plastc L shaped soft close mechansm from the bag of enclosed parts. Place L shaped soft close mechansm nto predrlled holes. Optonal but not necessary-screw nto place wth provded screws. STEP 9 DRWER GLIDE INSTLLTION Take metal drawer glde and slde t nto the plastc L shaped bracket you prevously attached to the back of the cabnet. Lne the front of the glde so t s flush wth the front of the frame, and lned up wth the predrlled holes. Screw n place wth the small 7/16 flat head screws. Repeat on other sde of cabnet. X PGE 6

7 STEP 10 PUT TOGETHER DRWERS You ll fnd fve peces that make up the drawers. ll of our cabnets have dovetaled jonts. Just lne up the holes and screw together. Lne up the parts, then hang front edge over an elevated work surface. Gently tap jonts together wth a rubber mallet. DRWER DRWER CK DRWER IN SE DRWER FRONT DRWER Fnd the orange and blue clps n the accessores bag. Lne them up toward front of drawer as shown. Use the stanless screws packaged wth clps to fasten them to the botom front of the drawer. PGE 7

8 STEP 11 INSTLL DRWER TO CINET OX Take assembled drawer and lne t on top of the metal gldes. Push the back of the metal glde nto the predrlled hole located at the back of the drawer untl t s flush wth the back porton of cabnet. The mechansm wll come together wth a few clcks. 9 STEP 12 RCING Screw n vnyl corner braces and you are done! Use the eght round-head 1/2 screws to fasten the brace to the cabnet. X X OVERHED VIEW FRONT CONGRTULTIONS, YOU RE DONE! PGE 9
