1 Australia s unique jazz event which began in 1992 brings together the Jazz Family of Australia and New Zealand with patrons and Australia s leading jazz musicians gathering together for a feast of exciting and challenging classic jazz performances. This program outlines these shows day by day for 10 days. We start with two Concerts on Friday 24 th and Saturday Matinee 25 th August, at the J Theatre, held in conjunction with The Noosa Chorale called Show Time In Las Vegas, This event sold out last year so book early. The Australian Jazz Ensemble will perform at these performances. The centre-piece of the Jazz Party is a program comprising six hours per night of entertaining, professional jazz starting on Thursday 30 th August and closing on Sunday 2 nd September It will be held at our Club venue, The J Theatre, at Noosa Junction. It is a comfortable, air-conditioned venue with great acoustics in a convenient central location with plenty of well-lit parking and has regular service bus stop. Our own shuttle bus to get people to and from The J is available, each evening, check the website for schedule. Our early bird tickets are already being sold to interstate jazz fans who have taken heed of our book early reminder. We use allocated table seating, and have added some theatre style seating on mezzanine level this year. Space is reserved for dancers and yummy meals and coffee are available. We run our own licensed bar, (NO BYO) and have a talking space lounge area. Tickets are on sale now for performances at The J on Thursday 30 th and Friday 31 st August, Saturday 1 st and Sunday 2 nd September.
