2 Welcome The Link Lift Watch is designed fo emegency call fom lift to fist aid (sevice depatment, police, etc The LLW is cetained fo 1 lift cabin. It is connectable to analog PSTN line o analog extension of PABX. The LLW is poweed fom telephone line the featues eminds hands fee phone. It is completely independent on lift powe supply. The signalization as same as status detection only equies connection of extenal powe supply. All inputs even outputs ae galvanically isolated fom telephone line. The button as same as contol ( thid ) wie only is connected with telephone line. The LLW has adjustable paametes saved in intenal memoy. The paametes might be pogammed eithe by phone via tone (DTMF) dial o by compute PC via configuation softwae. Fo connection the LLW to PC you have to use special cable. Afte button pessing the LLW enables to make phone call up 6 numbes max 16 digits in tone o pulse dial. It is possible also dial ρ, #, Pauza and Flash in tone dial. The button activation might be blocked by input BLOCK. As follow LLW enables to make a call in case of change the status at input INP1 (failue). The LLW also povides automatic phone call fom system time clock to confim its functionality. At all numbes is possible to use mode with o without confimation. Afte confimation of phone call by called paty the LLW eply by its seiál numbe and cuent call is taken as accepted. It means that LLW not dial any othe numbe saved in memoy. The next featue is emote contol of elay in connection with LLW by 2 digit code. The switching contact of elay is isolated fom the outstanding components. It is vey useful featue fo example : LIFT RESET.

4 1 Basic desciption 1.1 Featues The unit is poweed fom line only (you connect line and button only!) The unit includes acoustic pat ( mico and speake) compact solution! The loudness of mico as same as speake is adjustable independently It is integated anti-intefeence as same as potection against static electicity. Pogamming is eithe emotely by phone (DTMF tones) o by PC (seial pot RS232 o USB with conveto to RS232) It includes switchable elay contact. You can contol emotely by phone. You can use it fo emote contol of the lift ( RESET). The time of elay closing is adjustable fom 1 to 99 seconds. It includes indication light (LED) yellow, indication of dialing the numbe It includes indication light (LED) geen, indication connection was made. The time of button activation is adjustable fom 0,5 sec to 5 sec The possibility of activation via thid wie fom tansfe tool fo communication with machine oom Secuity against disusing of alam buttons (activation duing failue 5-24V). It includes univesal input which you can use fo failue announcement ( doos, powe supply, etc..) You can pogam special phone numbe. All inputs as same as outputs ae galvanicaly isolated not depends on polaity. ( except button and thid wie fo machine oom). Acoustic as same as optical signaling of LLW status The possibility to pogam 6 numbes ( 16 digits includes *,#,Pause, Flash) with note if you want use confimation o not.the numbes ae pogessively dial. 5 1.2 Teminology It is explain hee the meaning of used wods in manual. Communicato LLW - it is final poduct designed fo communication fom lift cabin to sevice cente. Emegency call - it is peson calling while lift failue o othe emegency situation happened. It is activates by button pushing. The call is being between lift cabin and sevice cente. Sevice calling - it is calling egulaly epeated. (fo example evey 3 days). It is automatic poving of LLW functionality. ) Failue calling - it is calling caused by status change on input INP1 Machine oom call - it is calling between lift cabin and machine oom, ) Incoming call - it is calling coming fom outside into LLW unit. The LLW pick up (you can pogam paametes) Dial - it is kind of dial on telephone line dial (DTMF) dial (dial even acknowledgement * and #, use loop inteuption = Flash) o pulse (dial only numeal) Telephone line - PSTN line (public line) (line coming diectly fom Telecommunication caie) o extension line (coming fom PBX) confimation - dial of combination sta * and numeals. Afte dialing of those chaactes the call is authoized and lift communicato eply by its unique seial numbe. 6 1.3 Wiing contacts Desciption of basic module The LLW is compact solution of communicato, it means that contains loudspeake, micophone, scew teminal and connecto fo PC connection (configuation). At pictue 1 is dawing of LLW basic boad. Functionality of connection is explain in follow chaptes. On the basic boad ae 3 setting elements ( timmes) : MIC micophone volume setting VOL loudspeake volume setting TRH setting of balance between mico and speake Note: Please take in mind duing TRH setting that incoming diection ( speake) and outgoing diection ( micophone) ae influence each othe. We ecommend to dont set high volume in the beginning of mico o speake and via TRH set both diection to be both in good volume quality. 7 Hee you can see that when is set high volume of micophone (MIC) as same as speake (VOL) then signals influence each othe. The esult might be that call is inteupted o one diection is silent. The loudspeake as same as micophone ae connected by wies as you can see on pictue 1. Caution on polaity of micophone because is poweed (+ -) The jumpe maked SERVICE is available fo automatic ente to pogamming mode when passwod is fogotten. When jumpe is ON And you make incoming call on LLW then afte picking up you ae diectly in pogamming mode. In pogamming mode you can change all paametes includes new passwod as well. The black connecto on opposite side fom scew teminal is designed fo PC connection by special cable KAB. The cable is galvanicaly isolated conveto of RS 232 inteface (PC pot COM1, COM2 ) and LLW inteface. Galvanical isolation is necessay because PC might be gounded And telephone line MUST NOT be gounded! When you PC is not equipped by RS 232 pot but only USB then you can use conveto USB-RS232 fo its is in you PC ceates vitual seial pot (fo example COM6) and this you will select in configuation softwae LiftSet fo communication to LLW Telephone line connection (LINE a b) The basic condition fo LLW opeation is telephone line connection. Telephone line is 2 wies which you connect to scew teminal up pictue 2. Pictue 2: Telephone line connection Telephone line inteface has following typical paametes. The voltage in Hang up status (disconnect loop) 20-60V = (duing connection not depends on polaity), when LLW pick up (active status) on telephone line is cca 7-12V, depends on line cuent which is in ange 20-60mA. Futhe telephone line paametes ae signaling, inging (incoming call) is define by AC voltage fom 50-90V and fequency 20 60Hz. 8 fequency 425Hz +/- 20Hz and level -10dBm (cca 0,22V) and diffeence lis cadency. The LLW eacts on those tones Button and blocking connection (BTN a BLOCK) When telephone line is connected we need connect button only. The button is connected to scew teminal mak BTN. Look on pictue 3. Pictue 3 : Button connection and call blocking The scew mak BLOCK is designed fo blocking of button fo emegency call. Input is isolated fom othe pats of LLW and not depends on polaity. In configuation you can select if BLOCK input is activated by leading of voltage 5-24V o by disconnection of this voltage Connection of optical signalization (YELOW and GREEN) The LLW is equipped by call status indication. It is by yellow and geen indicato. The switche outputs fo those indicatos ae isolated fom othe components and each fom othe as well. The switches ae made until cuent 0,5A and voltage 50V. On Pictue 4 you can see examples of lamp indicato connection (powe consumption should not be highe than 5W) o LED indicato connection. ( Don t foget add esisto!!!). As next paamete you pogam the length of this voltage change befoe failue calling is activated Connection of machine oom communication (3WR) When use in machine oom module PREPOJ you can see on pictue 6 its connection. 11 1.3.7 Relay connection (12V and NC/COM/NO) The last featue of LLW is emote contol of switchable isolated contact (elay). You can use it fo emote contol ( RESET of the lift), contol of futhe lift systems, etc Desciption is on pictue 7. Pictue 4: Relay connection Scew 12V is necessay fo elay poweing because telephone line has not enough powe. Scew 12V is isolated fom othe components and not depends on polaity. Scew maks COM is shae output of switchable contact. Scew maks NO ( nomally open) the contact in stand by is OFF and scew maks NC (nomally close) the contact in stand by is ON. 12 1.4 LLW Installation The compact solution of LLW enables easy installation into lift cabin panel. Depth (space behind panel) is min. 30 mm. Dimension and installation holes ae descied on pictue 8. Pictue 5: LLW dimension The lift cabin panel should be equipped by acoustic holes in micophone as same as speake pat. It should be also povides by 2 scews M4 fo fixing the LLW unit to the panel. The pope mechanical installation essentially influence acoustic paametes of the unit. 13 2 LLW sevice 2.1 The LLW signaling tones The LLW signaling acoustically stages which can happen duing opeation. Futhe signaling is by Geen and Yellow indicato connected in lift cabin. Acoustic samples of signaling tones you can check in configuation sw LiftSet. 14 2.2 Calling fom LLW The functionality of LLW is influenced by connection of futhe lift components (failue notification, elay,...) as same as by setting of LLW paametes (via. chapte Chyba! Nenalezen zdoj odkazů. Chyba! Nenalezen zdoj odkazů. / pagechyba! Záložka není definována.) Emegency call (button activation) The emegency call is basic and most impotant featue of LLW. It is activated by button pessing (scew BTN). To povide coect functionality you must keep 2 conditions: Fist condition is that, button blocking is not active. Please note that blocking might be eithe by leading voltage 5-24V o by disconnection this voltage. Second condition is that button you must hold enough time. It is adjustable fom 0,5 sec to 5 sec. Button pessing has pioity befoe othe calls (sevice, failue even incoming). If is being a call ( not emegency) the call is stoped and stats emegency call pocedue. Duing emegency call is active both way voice communication. Duing establishing call is lighting yellow indicato. Afte call connection call confimation geen indicato light up. Emegency call dial pogessively stoed numbes (1 6 position). It stats fom position 1 up to position which is not pogammed. It means when you pogam numbes to all 6 position then pogessively dial all 6 numbes. When you ease numbe on position 3 then dial numbes on position 1 and 2 and etuns back to position 1. You can also pogam how many times the ound (pogammed numbes on position 1-6 should be epeated ( 1 to 5 times). While is emegency call the button does not eact on othe pessing and even moe any othe stage might not beak emegency call pocedue. The machine oom call only can beak emegency call (chapte page.16). The last point of emegency call is call confimation. At evey emegency numbe (position 1-6) you can select confimation o not. (chapte page.15.). Dialing is stopped afte call connection Calling fom INP1 activation (failue) Calling fom activated input INP1 is named failue calling. The LLW enables to make notification about lift failue fo sevice depatment. The call is activated by voltage change ( 5-24V ON/OFF) on input INP1. It is adjustable in setting. As follow you can select time how long must be change on input INP1 to stat failue calling. Failue calling has own numbe which might be of couse the same as emegency o sevice call numbe. You can also select if will be dialing only this numbe o all ound of emegency numbes ( then you have max 7 numbes). 14 NLLW návod k obsluze a instalaci

15 Failue calling is not epeated. It means that all numbes ae calling only once And then LLW hang up. Futhe ound might be activated only by new change on input INP1. The voltage must etuns back to stand by mode. The change on input INP1 must happen again. Duing failue calling ae all othe featues available. Duing failue calling is not lighting any indicato. It is not voice communication. The call is geneating beeps via. lighting x geen / yellow up stage (confimed = geen) Table 1 page Sevice calling (fom time) Sevice calling is optional paamete. You also define if this paamete is activated since fist connection of LLW to telephone line. This sevice calling is adjustable fom 1 to 9 day peiod, fo example 3 means that LLW is make automatically evey 3d day a call to pepogammed numbe (test of LLW functionality). Fo sevice calling you pogam special numbe which might be of couse the same as emegency o failue calling numbe. You can also select if will be dialing only this numbe o all ound of emegency numbes (then you have max 7 numbes). The sevice calling is epeated in peiod 0-9 min (pogammable) until successful call (confimation). The epeated time between calls is pogammable because to sevice depatment can call moe LLW. To avoid of poblem that sevice depatment line is busy you can pogam diffeent time peiod fo sevice calling up installation place. Duing failue calling is not lighting any indicato. It is not voice communication. The call is geneating beeps via. lighting x geen / yellow up stage (confimed = geen) Table 1 page End of calling call confimation The LLW enables to pogam at evey numbe if will be confimed o not. Evey call needs authoization if it was successful o not. Theefoe analog line doesn t suppot any kind of authoization (signaling) we can define success of call by 2 ways. The LLW needs this info to not dial futhe numbes. Fist way (no confimation) is detection that call was successful on the base contol inging tone (CRT). It is tone which we ae heaing in handset when make call to othe subscibe. The LLW detects this tone and when is missing fo cetain time then evaluate the call was successful (Geen indicato light up and yellow light down). The time which defines undetection of CRT (called pat picks up) is adjustable because each type of PBX can be diffeent. Usually should be 5 seconds as the best. At this call authoization stays possibility confim the call by dial confimation chaactes (*xxxxxx, whee NLLW návod k obsluze a instalaci 15

16 xxxxxx is 2-6 numeals). Afte dialing of confimation chaactes LLW eply by its seial numbe (DTMF tones). Second way (with confimation) is detection that call was successful only by dial confimation chaactes (*xxxxxx, whee xxxxxx is 2-6 numeals). This way is most eliable but equies tained people in sevice depatment (they must be able inset confimation chaactes when call is pick up), o at sevice depatment must be used evaluation softwae. Afte dialing of confimation chaactes the LLW eply by its unique seial numbe. By this way is detected whee fom is coming a call even when moe LLW is installed behind PBX. In this case is not possible detect it by CLIP because all LLW have the same CLIP due the same telephone line use fo outgoing calls Machine oom connection Connection between machine oom and LLW is special case which has absolute pioity. The eason is that duing machine oom communication is disconnected telephone line. The LLW accept machine oom call as incoming, it means you can pogam the unit, contol elay,.. The call is not time limited as same as not possible hang up. Possibility to make machine oom connection is only when you use option box named PREPOJ and via connection of thid wie (telephone line has 2 wies And thid is fo LLW contolling). Wies connection is displayed on pictue 6, page 11. The call is activated by inseting of Jack 6,3mm into PREPOJ box and picking up of phone (both in machine oom). The LLW picks up immediately (is active). This status is indicated by both indicatos (geen and yellow) light up. You can make voice communication. The call duation is until hang up phone in machine oom. When stay Jack inseted to PREPOJ the telephone line is disconnected. It means you cant make connection via telephone line. Do not foget take out Jack afte finishing machine oom call to etun LLW to stand by mode!!!!!! Incoming call Incoming call is coming fom outside to LLW. Afte extension dialing o land line numbe whee is LLW connected the LLW is inging and afte pepogammed numbe of ings (paamete 51) the LLW picks up And you can speak to lift cabin. Exceptional is fist 10sec, whee is additionally possible inset "# and sevice passwod" (paamete 44), to ente pogamming mode. When jumpe "SERVIS" on LLW basic boad is closed you ae automatically going to pogamming mode when call is picks up. (without sevice passwod). It is useful when you foget sevice passwod and by this way you can pogam the new one. Do not foget disconnect jumpe afte pogamming. 17 Incoming call is detected by geen indicato. It is possible contol elay. It is possible voice communication. Afte dialing of confimation chaactes the LLW etuns seial numbe. The incoming call is only the way how pogam the LLW by telephone (tone dial DTMF). NLLW návod k obsluze a instalaci 17

18 3 Paametes pogamming Pogamming by telephone: Ente to pogamming mode The LLW will be set to pogamming mode in two ways: 1. by passwod only incoming call! answe the telephone and dial a numbe, whee the LLW is connected (eithe extension numbe, if connected to PBX o numbe of state line to object, whee the LLW is placed and let you put though to PBX diectly connected with LLW). The LLW will answe (you hea tone fo answeing see Table 1 page14) up to 10 sec dial #xxxx, whee xxxx is the sevice numbe fo enty to pogamming and if O.K., the egistation tone to pogamming will sound and aftewads the pogamming tone is head (see Table 1 page14chapte). 2. by "SERVICE" jumpe only incoming call! you will ealize the connection with LLW in the same way as in at. 1, but when the SERVICE jumpe is connected, then the LLW afte answeing diectly comes to pogamming mode you hea tone fo answeing, egistation tone to pogamming and aftewads the pogamming tone is head. (see Table 1 page14) Pogamming of paametes The initial state fo pogamming is signaled by pogamming tone and the guad will come back to this state always afte time expiation (5 seconds) even you stated to pogam anything. When pogamming two types of paametes will occu. Patly they ae paametes with fixed length the majoity of them they ae, then the pogamming is affimed and the paamete is always ecoded immediately afte mandatoy length fulfillment by acknowledge tone and patly the paametes with vaiable length (paamete 1,21,22,45), followed with confimation and the ecoding of the paamete afte inactivity peiod expies (5 sec). The only case with immediate ecoding of paametes is the fulfillment of max. numbe of ecoded signs (numbes) by paametes 1,21 and 22 it is 16, by paamete 45 it is 6. If duing pogamming you ente numbe (sign) not allowable by its extent then the LLW immediately emits an eo tone, the paamete will not be ecoded no changed, the LLW will come to initial state and it is possible to epeat the paamete setting o pogam anothe paamete. The LLW stays inactive in pogamming mode fo 34 seconds, then he will automatically hang up. By evey dialing of DTMF tone this peiod is set up epeatedly. 19 Note 1. if you wish to keep the connection (extend the 34 seconds peiod) than the custome will think ove the othe setting, so pessing e.g.. 6, 7, 0, ρ o # fom time to time will be sufficient and the guad immediately esponds by eo tone, but he will extend the peiod to hanging up PC pogamming pogam Lift SET Fo setting of LLW by PC you need special cable KAB ( RS 232 pot) and Pogam Lift SET. The LLW must be connected to telephone line poweing. Pocedue: - Connect the LLW to the line - Connect the LLW with PC by KAB cable (if PC seial pot absent, the USB- COM eduction is to be used). The LLW will answe and LED light on the font panel will light. - Run the Lift SET pogam the LLW will epot the his convesion to PC pogamming mode (see table 1 page14). Afte Liftset pogam being un the LLW is in this mode this status is indicated by LED light on font panel by 1 second flashing. By loss of connection it is necessay to disconnect the cable fom LLW connect it again the LLW will answe and if Liftset pogam uns he will epot his convesion to pogamming mode. Emegency numbes ae dialed fom fist position until empty o 6th position. This is 1 sequence. It might be epeated max 5 times.
