2 Getting Started with 406Link Congratulations on your new subscription to 406Link.com. Here are some basic instructions on how you can get started in as little as 60 seconds. When you go to 406Link.com, you will see the Client Login button in the upper right hand corner. Select this link and enter your username and password that you created when you registered for your account. Logging In If you forget your username or password, click on the Forgot Username or Password link in the login section; enter your beacons 15 digit Unique Identification Number (HEX ID) and your address. Your username and password will be automatically ed to you.

4 The Map View allows you to choose between different map views (Street, Hybrid, Aerial and Birds eye), Zoom in and out of the map and navigating (North, East, South and West) in your map view. You can also add some emergency contact information Here you can also add 2 emergency contacts and their information. Emergency contacts information will not be shared with anyone for marketing purposes. Should Search and Rescue contact ACR regarding assistance in locating details about a beacon that has been registered with our website, this information may be shared to assist Search and Rescue only. This is where your beacon details are stored. On the far right side you will see the edit icon, which will allow you to make changes to your Beacon Details such as the Type of Beacon, Manufacturer, Model, Battery Replacement Date, Normal storage location and a contact phone number. Note that the 15 HEX ID cannot be changed. Each account is per Beacon and if an additional Beacon is to be added to your account, simply select Add New Beacon located on this page.

Note: Make sure that the check mark next to the and SMS are selected. If they are not selected, they will not receive the self test message. In order for SMS Text Messages to be sent, you need to enter the cell phone provider for each cell phone as each cell phone provider has different protocol for sending SMS Text Messages.

If you have multiple beacons in your account make sure you select the beacon you want to review first. You can also view how much longer until your battery needs to be replaced, locate your beacons owner manual and log any additional service history notes about your beacon. AVAILABLE WITH THE PLUS PLAN ONLY Map your GPS Position With the New AquaLink or SARLink PLBs from ACR Electronics, if you have purchased the PLUS plan, you can view your GPS position on the map by selecting the Map Icon Arrow indicates location of GPS Self Test (100 meter accuracy from the Cospas Sarsat satellites).

9 Self Testing Your Beacon: Note 406Link works with many different EPIRBs EPIRBs, ELTs and PLBs PLBs. Please consult your owner s manual for the proper self testing procedures. 1. Self Test must be performed OUTSIDE with a CLEAR VIEW TO THE SKY Self Testing Your B Beacon 2. For best result, face beacon towards the equator and make sure no buildings or obstructions are blocking the view to the sky. 3. It is very important that you deploy your antenna prior to performing a self test so that the signal has the best chance to reach the satellites. 4.
