4 How the SmartTech Laser works? The SmartTech Laser works with a nanosecond pulse technology. for the cornea it makes no difference who created this plasma Equal to femtosecond lasers, the SmartTech Laser produces laserinduced plasma to separate the corneal tissue by using photodisruption. Instead of the highly complex femto laser source, an innovative ultraviolett semiconductive microchip laser is used.
