22 VHR Campaign BACKUP The same rules as in the previous Campaign: Backup opened 10 days after prime Backup zones identified in cooperation with the IPs and taking MS requests into account When prime acquired, backup programming cancelled No extension of prime VHR windows if backup available Dynamic backup was not necessary Sensors used: EROS B, SP5SPM, Formosat 2, Kompsat 2, WV1, WV2 SLIDE 22

28 VHR Campaign - Administrative issues: Late Budget release Contractors not reacting promptly (within specs) in receiving/accepting/rejecting proposed/retained images Contractors not validating images received (IDQA), some contractors wait until they have a lot of imagery before they start validation Providers sending final invoices before IDQA is filled by contractors New zones added, changes requested by MS (RO, DE) need for a better planning Flood in Hungary and Poland, extension of windows Merging orders in one invoice (problems with validation of imagery) SLIDE 28
