1 GUIDELINES 365 Challenge Quilt Blocks 1. PURPOSE: The Contest aims to make an important event at the international level to spread the knowledge of Patchwork and Quilting. Ente Fiera Promoberg and Ravelli Simone, owner of Ravelli's Company (also called Organizers) with the Quilt Italia Patronage and with the participation of Kathryn Kerr, creator of the 365 Challenge Quilt Blocks project, promote the Show Contest (also called Competition) with the aim of rewarding quilter's dedication and perseverance, who for the realization of their work followed the publication of one block a day during the 2016 year. The contest is also a chance for Kathryn Kerr's meeting with those who for a year worked on the project, keeping virtually in touch with the various Social Network groups. There will be also the opportunity to give to Quilting and Patchwork enthusiasts the possibility to admire "365 Challenge Quilt Blocks" live. 2. EXHIBITION AREA: Quilt (also known as Works) will be exhibited from 5 th to 8 th October 2017 during the event Creattiva Bergamo - Fair of the Manual Arts (also called Exhibition), organized by Ente Fiera Promoberg at the Bergamo Exhibition Centre (ITALY), Via Lunga snc. 3. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT: Only the quilt realized according to the 2016 project called "365 Challenge quilt Blocks" at can take part to the Contest. Quilt will have to comply with the Original Project sizes (from 235 x 235 cm / 90"x90" to maximum of 300 x 300/118"x118") and be made with all Day Blocks or Bonus Blocks, even quilt with custom variants in the arrangement of Angle Floral Blocks.

2 They will also be able to participate in a dedicated Category, the works done with reduced size compared to the size of the Original Project or with partial use of the Daily Blocks and / or Bonus Blocks. Among those who have realized these quilt can only participate in the Contest quilts have never been exhibited in any other Exhibition in Italy. Cannot participate in the Quilt Competition Works realized by members of the Committee and the Show Contest Organization. 4. HOW DO PREPARE QUILT FOR EXHIBITION? Quilt should also have a temporary hanging sleeve, placed on the reverse at cm. 1 from the top and cm. 1 from side edges, sleeve fit: cm. 10 for the width of the Quilt divided into two sections of the same size, flanked to the center of the quilt, to support the suspension of the same in the middle of the upper side. Quilt should have a fabric label containing the author references (name, surname, address, cell phone number, ), sewn on the back at the bottom left, any reference to who quilted the Quilt (if different than the author), the title and size of the work and the year of execution. 5. THE SHIPPING AND INSURANCE ARE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMPETITORS Shipment, both on the way and on the return, and the related insurance, shall be paid by the competitor. The Organizers, while guaranteeing the care in preserving the quilt entrusted, do not assume any responsibility for their custody. The organizers therefore invite competitors to underwriting an insurance policy. Competitors with the entry to the Contest take on all responsibility, withholding Promoberg from any damage caused by its quilt and / or its loss. 6. REGISTRATION In order to qualify for the Contest, the Candidates who have the requirements exposed in point no.3 must complete by the 15th of July 2017 the Application form published on the website of Ente Fiera Promoberg dedicated to the event: in the section of the Bergamo edition. The Application Form must be sent exclusively from that website following the instructions given therein. Together with the application form you will need to send an image of the quilt with which you intend to participate in the Contest (the quilt may also not be quilted). Any application form that may arise after this date, or incomplete, will not be considered. The date of sending the e- mail will be faithful. Quality of the photos: the photos must be of good quality and well lit on a neutral background. They must be sent without color retouching in high resolution color JPEG (.jpg) format for printing (10x15 cm and 300 dpi) Please save the image as follows: title_name (eg Miss Sara_My 365) 7. ADMISSION TO THE COMPETITION The participation is individual, the prize will be unique if more people have worked on the same Quilt (eg Quilter who has made the top and Quilter who has performed the quilt), the prize will be awarded to Quilter who signed up. Each participant can compete with one work, several quilts quilted by the same Quilter are allowed, but it s not allowed present several quilts "sewn / assembled" by the same Quilter.

3 The Quilts entered in the Contest will be divided into two categories according to the following requirements: 1_Category "365 Challenge Quilt Blocks": Quilt will have a size from cm. 235 x cm. 235 (90 "x 90") to a maximum of cm. 300 x cm. 300 (118 "x 118") and have been made with all Day Blocks or Bonus Blocks of the Original Project, Quilt are allowed with personal variations in the arrangement of Angle Floral Blocks. 2_Second category "365 Challenge Quilt Blocks": in this Category are allowed works with reduced dimensions compared to the Original Project, even with partial use of the Daily Blocks and / or Bonus Blocks. During the event the label will be covered and the Quilt will be numbered to make the evaluation of the Judicial Commission and the impartial audience, the last one will vote for the Quilt "The Best of Show". The Quilt only shown will be displayed in the same contest space but they will not have an identification number, because they cannot be voted on. Works that do not follow the above requirements will not be admitted to the Contest. The first 80 registered Quilt will be admitted to the Contest, distributed between the two categories, provided they meet the above described requirements. Quilt should also have the following structural features: they should be three-layered and have a soft quilt appearance; they will not accept quilt with rigid frames and / or chopsticks or inserted objects that have particular delicacy and consequently are not easily manageable. 8. QUILT PACKAGING, DELIVERY AND COLLECTION The Quilt, with the original of the application form, must be sent by September, the 4 th, no later, at the following address: Fantasy Quilt Ravelli di Ravelli Simone Via dell'industria, 5 cap Romano di Lombardia -Bergamo- Italy You are kindly requested to send an to info@fantasyquilt.it Exceptionally, if you would like to deliver and / or withdraw your Quilt personally, please send an to info@fantasyquilt.it for personalized agreements: Delivery and withdrawal "Brevi manu" Show Contest 365. Delivery deadline "Brevi manu": no later than 12 pm on October the 4 th, 2017 The delivery/shipment costs for participation and shipping for the quilt return will be to paid by the Competitors.

4 At the end of the event and within the next 15 days (unless otherwise agreed with the individual authors), Quilt in the Show Contest will be returned to the Authors by courier. If the works are required to be exhibited during the other events, the Organizers would contact the owners to agree. For any information or clarification: Soli Liliana - info@fantasyquilt.it - Object : Information Show Contest 365. The packaging provided by the competitors will have to protect the work from the risk of damage during transport, whether in the case of shipment by mail or courier. In any event, the Organizers will not account to any damage caused by a bad packaging. For shipping, it is advisable to pack the Quilt by inserting it in a cotton bag with address and name above, and lastly insert it in a cellophane bag, to attach a label with data and address for resending (just half a sheet), and to send the work with box type packaging. The packaging will be reused to send back the individual Quilt. 9. COMMITTEE: For the "365 Challenge Quilt Blocks" category, the Commission, designated by the Organizers, will consist of a representative of the Italian Quilt Board (that not participate in the Contest organization to ensure impartiality of the judgment) and experts in the field of Patchwork. The Commission will award the prize awarding the first three prizes indicated in section no.10. The judgments of the Commission and Kathryn Kerr are unquestionable and irrevocable. The audience of Bergamo Creattiva will vote and award the Quilt "The Best of Show" selected among the Quilts in the "365 Challenge Quilt Blocks" category, the voting audience will be the one who will visit the Exhibition on the 5 th to 7 th October from 9.30am to 7.00pm and on the morning of October, the 8 th until 12.00, after which the ballot papers and the award of the highest rated Quilt will be debated. At the time of purchase of the entry ticket to the Event, a card will be issued that will entitle the vote to be filled in an upright post in the Quilt Exhibition Area. Prizes will be delivered directly at the time of the winners' announcement on October 8 th, 2017 or shipped by the 31 st of December Unsolicited or unallocated prizes, unlike those rejected, will be donated to charity.

PROMOTION The Show Contest will be promoted through a paper-based communication campaign (flyers, guides, posters etc.) and online campaign (Social Network, Blogs, Online Newspapers, Sponsor Partner and Event Organizers websites). 12. ACCEPTANCE OF PARTICIPATION RULES: Participation in the Show Contest implies the unconditional acceptance of all the rules contained in these Guideline. Participants subscribing to the Application forma authorize the Organizers to exhibit the Quilt within the Show Contest and to reproduce by photo the same for the eventual distribution by press and / or catalog or internet. 14.
