The candidate should exhibit professionalism and success in the area of real estate and Board activities. Service to the real estate industry should be considered a higher priority than productivity. Current officers and directors are not eligible. Other Notable Activities:

2 201 Distinguished Service Award Nomination Form The Distinguished Service Award is presented at the President s Ball to a MIBOR member (REALTOR or Affiliate) who has made a direct and positive impact on MIBOR s success and the real estate industry. The award recognizes career achievement and is not necessarily given on an annual basis, but may be given to more than one individual in a given year. Other Notable Activities:

3 201 Affiliate of the Year Nomination Form The Affiliate of the Year award is presented annually at the President s Ball to an Affiliate member who has made outstanding volunteer contributions to MIBOR during 201. The candidate should exhibit professionalism and success in the area of real estate and Board activities. Service to the real estate industry should be considered a higher priority than productivity. 4 201 Bud Tucker Community Service Award Nomination Form The Bud Tucker Community Service Award is presented at the President s Ball to a MIBOR member (REALTOR or Affiliate) who has made a direct impact on the community outside real estate helping to build a positive image for the real estate industry. 5 201 Denver Hutt Rising Star Award A new award, established in 2016, the Denver Hutt Rising Star award is designed to recognize a MIBOR REALTOR member who has made, and is making, a positive impact on the real estate industry within the early years of his or her career. Designed to honor former MIBOR staff person Denver Hutt who defined her personal and professional life by building relationships and recognizing and harnessing the power of collaborative thinking, Rising Star nominees should embody a spirit of innovation, engagement, and collaboration. Denver Hutt was Known to MIBOR members for only four months in late 2015 and early She passed away from ovarian cancer in January, Her short tenure with MIBOR was accentuated by her passion for making a difference and doing so quickly. She believed that people could make a significant impact right away in their careers. She didn t subscribe to a notion of waiting your turn. Her career, which spanned only a few years prior to joining MIBOR, exemplified that premise and she inspired others to do the same. One of her mantras was, If not now, when?
