President, CEO and Founder In launching this cookie, gourmet dessert and gift-basket retailer, Krueger designed a business model that was scalable to grow to at least $200 million. By the time she sold the business to FLOWERS.COM in 2005, Krueger had grown the operation into a $34 million corporation, which she sold for $48 million. It later grew into a more than $50 million company. Conceived as a product company that made the customer the #1 priority, Cheryl & Co. developed a reputation for product quality and innovation, financial discipline and a keen understanding of risks. Under Krueger s leadership, the company also exhibited great vision, an emphasis on selectively hiring the right people with diverse backgrounds and skill sets, and a tremendous focus on strategy. Krueger s development of a successful business model included: Creation of multiple sales channels: Retail Stores (1981), Catalog (1989, a first for any cookie company in the United States), Business Gift Services (1989), Wholesale (1992), Internet (1997) and the QVC cable network (2004)

She and four other businesspeople listened to the input of business leaders around the state to learn what Kasich could do to help jump-start the economy.
