As a secondgeneration Chicago REALTOR, she grew up resisting real estate in favor of a career as a stay-home mom, while working on community phil an - thropic projects. When her mother Mary Fay a successful Broker at Century 21 McMullen, encouraged her to join on what was thought to be a temporary basis. Discovering real estate allowed her to give back in her own way, and over two decades later with Century 21 McMullen, she is still selling homes, and enormously successfully doing so. I love people at the end of the day, it s just not about selling houses. This is someone s biggest lifetime investment, and it should be enjoyable and non-stressful. It s truly rewarding helping my clients find the home of their dreams. Dympna s mantra is, when you do good things, good things will hap - pen. Her career has allowed her to participate in worthy philanthropic and community projects for those who are less fortunate. Century 21 is the number one corporate sponsor for Easter Seals and she participates in a program that allows agents to automatically give a portion of their commission check to the organization. Additionally, Dympna is involved in helping soldiers who are serving overseas. She is the founder of the, Century 21 McMullen Support Our Troops where she organizes groups and schools to send various items our troops request to make their tour of duty a bit easier. She also de - veloped a program in conjunction with our local real estate licensing school, that offers free Real Estate licensing classes to returning veterans to help them segue into real estate positions. Because of Dympna s extensive years

in real estate, and strong con nec - tions to the Chicago area, she was honored to be chosen as a legis lative contact for the Illinois Association of REALTORS a post she has held for the past 10

This Legislative body is hand picked to support and foster a collaborative voice for REALTORS on local real estate governmental changes. She is a past recipient of the Lifetime Member Award from the REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) for her involve ment in causes that help the greater good of the community. Dympna s altruistic approach to real estate has paid dividends. She re - cently received her 18th Centurion Award from Century 21 International, LLC. She is the 48th Inductee into the Century 21 International Hall of Fame for her successful years with the company, outstanding sales volume and dedication to community service and philanthropy. She has spoken at their Global Conferences on various

Additionally, Dympna will be a Keynote speaker at the 2015 Women s C.O.R.E. Summit in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Well known for her commitment and dedi - cation to her personal clients they voted her as one of the top agents in Chicago magazine in 2014 and Dympna attributes a large part of her success to the supportive culture at Century 21 McMullen. The office, which has been in existence since 1945, was recently ranked the #1 Century 21 office in the state. There are numerous real estate Brokerages in Chicago, but what sets Century 21 McMullen apart is our harmonious family environment and our commitment to the community, she said. Though Dympna s success is rooted in tradition, she also believes an accomp - lished REALTOR must always be willing to change. Keeping abreast of innovative technology and it s appli - cation to real estate, new laws, and creative lending tools are all items that can change quickly in our industry. Change is uncomfortable for most, but inevitably causes us to learn, and grow. Dympna recently accepted a new role as Century 21 McMullen s Director of Recruiting. While con tinuing her suc - cessful sales career, she will cul tivate new and existing agents who possess a strong work ethic, good people skills, and an adaptive ability to the ever changing real estate world. Dympna has three children ages 25, 23, and 18 and resides in Chicago with her husband Robert. In their spare time they enjoy traveling, art, hiking and spending time at their lakeside retreat in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
