2 Katie Uei I want to use my work ethic to help others. The Zig Ziglar motto I apply to my business is You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want, shares Katie Uei, top agent at Alaska Real Estate Network LLC in Soldotna, Alaska. Katie says, It feels good to support our community. Every time one of my buyers or sellers close, I let the clients choose a business they wish me to contribute to out of my commission earned. This helps our community thrive and creates a larger business network. During

3 every closing I also donate to the Wounded Warrior Project. I have many family members and friends in the military. They work hard and risk their lives. The Wounded Warrior Project helps train therapy dogs and gives veterans the support they deserve. Katie s passion for real estate, uplifting personality and dedication to helping others is inspiring and infectious. In 2014, she became a top producer in the state of Alaska and since then, her business has doubled. She says, It feels so amazing to close on a property. I cannot describe it. When I closed on my first home, I knew being a REALTOR was my calling. To be that impactful on someone s life and to be that trusted is a huge honor. She adds, Having morals, values and integrity in all that I do has helped my business grow. Also, I am always thinking outside the box when finding extra listings for my buyers. If I cannot find the right property for clients, I do market research and go knock o When I closed on my first home, I knew being a REALTOR was my calling. This helps me find exactly what clients are looking for in their price range. There are many diversified loan programs available, and some programs do not have a credit score require ment.

5 This is bringing in more buyers. There is a low inventory in the area, so sellers are getting full price or more than full price for homes. I also have a marketing team with a photographer, a social media assistant and a sign maker to benefit my seller s exposure. In addition to Katie s work ethic and creative marketing strategies, clients remember her positive attitude and real estate expertise. She says, I like to laugh and make the home searching process fun. I get to know my clients families and even their pets. If someone wants five acres for horses, then I need to find the right house to accommodate their entire family. It is a challenge, and it keeps

I thrive and love working with listings off of the river, creek, ocean and homes with views. n clients know I am always happy to help and answer any questions they may have. If I am unable to find the answer and I feel its better to have them contact the source of the information directly.
