1 THE JEFF SILVER AWARD Recognizing Achievement in the Collision Industry Platinum Individual Nomination Form Purpose Jeff Silver saw the need for industry recognition as one of the forefathers of the I-CAR Gold Class Professionals and Platinum Individual TM recognition programs. A former I-CAR CEO, he continues his involvement in the industry today as a Platinum Individual and as owner with wife Jeanne of Butterfield Bodyworks CARSTAR in Mundelein, Illinois. The Jeff Silver award honors him and others like him who embodies a true passion for training and professional growth. Eligibility This award will be bestowed to a select individual that meets the following requirements: Holds a long term (defined as at least five consecutive years) I-CAR Platinum Individual designation Trains beyond the minimum requirement to maintain the designation Available for a member of any industry segment that meets criteria The following is not required of a nominee but can be used in the evaluation process: Actively promotes the Platinum Individual designation, training, and a positive image of the collision industry (locally or on a broader scale) Active in a local volunteer committee, ISAC, or NFAC, etc. Active in inter-industry in other organizations or associations Active in local community Please note all current I-CAR employees are not eligible to earn this award, with the exception of I-CAR instructors. All nominations must be received by July 31, Judging I-CAR staff, I-CAR Executive Committee, I-CAR International Board of Directors, and/or other collision industry representatives will select the recipient. Presentation of Award The award will be presented during 2018 SEMA Week in Las Vegas, on Wednesday, October 31, at the Collision Industry Red Carpet Breakfast, 7:30-9am in Ballrooms D-E, at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. 1
