3 Member Spotlight Dr. Leo Simonson Dr. Simoson served as a board member of the Northeast Ohio Academy of Chiropractic and is on staff at the Cleveland Clinic and Lutheran Hospital. For Dr.

3 3 Member Spotlight Dr. Leo Simonson Dr. Simoson served as a board member of the Northeast Ohio Academy of Chiropractic and is on staff at the Cleveland Clinic and Lutheran Hospital. For Dr. Leo Simoson, one of the area s premier chiropractors, being in the health care field isn t something new to his family. The Avon chiropractor s grandfather was a chiropractor and his father was a medical doctor. Dr. Simoson couldn t be happier about keeping the family tradition alive.. Dr. Simoson finished the first part of his education by earning an undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in He then attended and graduated from Life University, in Atlanta, with his doctorate in chiropractic in He served as an associate with a neurologist in Atlanta and was an assistant to an Elyria chiropractor before coming to Avon. In April of 2000, Dr. Simoson opened his first privately-owned practice at Harvest Drive, located behind the Avon Public Library off of SR 611. Dr. Simoson also performs acupuncture. In addition, Dr. Simoson and his staff provide nutritional assessments as part of their holistic approach to healthcare. Dr. Simoson offers all of the traditional services that are provided in chiropractic treatment. His 1800 square foot chiropractic office in Avon is equipped with traditional examination tables, a series of physical therapy equipment, an X-ray machine and massage therapy. Dr. Simoson accepts all types of insurance and has easy payment plans for patients who do not have insurance. Our staff is dedicated to helping others appreciate the human body s potential for healing itself through the hands-on approach of chiropractic, Dr. Simoson said.
