What a deal, the BIRTHDAY PARTY at Chandler Park was a lot of fun, with Mike Meyers cooking up some mighty good burgers and Brenda feeding homeless CATS. Oh yes, the weather was a bit nippy but we all had a good time. Now its time for the CHRISTMAS PARTY (see article page 5). This is always a great party. We will be having the Chinese Gift exchange again this year, so everyone bring a gift ($10.00 minimum) and let the fun begin. For the new members, it does not have to be a car related gift. We do however like gifts with good taste, or maybe that is gifts that taste good. Oh well, whatever! Now that Turkey day is over and Christmas is coming, let s polish up our sleighs and check out the lights. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD RIDE! Mac 1

Meeting Minutes November 15, 2000 President Mac Arnett opened the meeting with a recap of the club s birthday party held in the cold and snow. Then everyone introduced themselves and their cars.

A calling committee will be formed to notify everyone since the party will be before the next meeting. Mac reported on the 2000 Miatas in Paradise Convention in Daytona Beach.

Mac said we needed a place to hold the Christmas party on December 9 and Mark and Peggy Clemons graciously offered their house. It is at 9941 S. 67 th E. Place. A calling committee will be formed to notify everyone since the party will be before the next meeting. Mac reported on the 2000 Miatas in Paradise Convention in Daytona Beach. The Meyers and the Arnetts were the only ones from the club to attend. Joel Eads reported on the place and time to gather for the Jenks Parade. Report was given on the radios purchased by the club for the lead car and last car to use during drives. The December meeting will be the annual Christmas lights tour on December 20, Joe Bohannon spoke on the new racing class of Spec Miata. Meeting was adjourned. Gene Bedingfield Secretary/Membership Chairperson Eagle Apparel Mike Meyer Brenda and I went to Eagle to get some new Miata shirts this week. We got them embroidered in four hours! The owner told me that as far as his business is concerned this is a very slow time of the year for him. He said that he has 24 hour turn around at the moment. He also said that even during December that because of new machines and such that he could guarantee a four day turn around for small orders. As I said in the meeting, this may be a good source of Christmas presents for Club members. Hats $18, Shirts $26. Your own items embroidered for only $10. Etc. Just thought I would let you know.
