The maximum number of people that we ever served was I want you to know that we served over 2000 people this year (20lb each) cooked turkeys - 2 (40lb each) cooked turkeys - Gifts for the children - Gifts for the adults Wayne Whinna and Joe Fontanals, how did you do it? We did not run out of food, let s just say that the desserts were very popular. You will also be happy to know that we had 150 volunteers. It was very touching to have so many children attending and working hard. Please extend my sincere thanks to your colleagues, your staff, the members of your family and the children. It was a superb event. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 6 Dear Fellow Association Members and Friends, It is with extreme sadness, that we inform you of the recent passing of our beloved Executive Board Member and friend, Arline L. Isaacson. Arline left us on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013 of a sudden brain hemorrhage. Arline was a positive driving force and great friend of The Food and Beverage Association of America and Hospitality Industry. Often being the conscience and voice of reason when needed... Often championing important causes, rooting for the underdog and accepting tasks that were not always considered exciting or popular by anyone s standard, and at times, taking on assignments that were down right boring and mundane, However, Arline knew certain tasks were extremely important to our Association in order to keep it vibrant & relevant in the Hospitality Industry. Arline s long, illustrious and successful career spans decades, but was most recently known for her Ivy League Alumni Club Management Firm, The Wharton Business School Alumni Club of NY & NJ Beta Gamma Sigma The NY Business School Club The Executive Forum of New York University With her unique persistence and her unwavering sense of humor, Arline always delivered. Arline leaves behind her son, Eric. She will be terribly missed... - Steven V. Gattullo
