Parkview Elementary Pioneers Special Olympians to participate in the State Special Olympics Summer Games in Stillwater, OK, on May 8-10, Expenses to be paid from School Activity Funds, Project Code 833 TMH. 2. Del City High School wrestling team attended the Regional Wrestling Tournament in Duncan, OK, on February 14-16, Expenses to be paid from School Activity Funds, Project Code 865 Athletic Activity Fund and Sanctioned Organization Funds. Confirmation. 3. Kevin Ponce, Child Nutrition Director, to attend the 2013 School Nutrition Association National Leadership Conference in Savannah, GA, on April 18-20, Expenses to be paid by the School Nutrition Association and personal funds. 4. Rachael Brown and Tresa Cantrell, Administration, to attend the Frontline Technologies Conference in Dallas, TX, on April 10-11, Expenses to be paid by General Fund, Project Code Del City High School Pom Squad to participate in summer camp in Norman, OK, on May 29-June 1, 2013, to improve dance techniques and promote team building. Expenses to be paid by School Activity Funds, Project Code 921 Pom Pon. 6. Linda Laakman, Cleveland Bailey, to attend the Model Schools Conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, D.C., on June 29-July 3, Expenses to be paid from Cleveland Bailey Activity Account, Project Code 826 and personal funds. 7. Carl Albert, Del City and Midwest City High Schools Air Force JROTC and Navy JROTC (Del City) to participate in a district-wide JROTC Summer Leadership Camp in Fort Sill, OK, on June 3-6, Expenses to be paid from School Activity Funds, Project Code 955 JROTC and school district allocated funds, Project Code 774 Headquarters AFJROTC Summer Leadership Lab Activities funds. 8. The trip for Carl Albert High School Pom Squad to attend Nationals in Minneapolis, MN, on February 20-25, 2013, was approved at the October 8, 2012, Regular Board Meeting with expenses to be paid by Sanctioned Organization Funds Pom Booster Club and personal funds. Your approval is requested to add Activity Funds to the funding source. Confirmation. 9. Jay Price, CAHS, and Chris Treu, MCHS, were approved at the February 11, 2013, Board Meeting to attend mock reading exams for NMSI in Killeen, TX, on April 11-13, NMSI has changed the location for the Computer Science mock exam reading. They will now be going to Colorado Springs, CO, on the same dates. The other six teachers will still be attending mock reading exams for math in Killeen, TX. 10. Del City High School Special Eagles to participate in the Special Olympics in Stillwater, OK, on May 8-10, Expenses to be paid from School Activity Funds, Project Code 833-Special Eagles, fundraisers and personal funds. 11. Midwest City High School Special Olympic Team to participate in the Special Olympics in Stillwater, OK, on May 8-10, Expenses to be paid from School Activity Funds, Project Code 833-Special Olympics. 2

3 12. Christine Paradise, Steed Elementary, attended the PARCC Education Leadership Cadre Meeting in Chicago, IL, on February 27-March 1, Expenses to be paid from PARCC. Confirmation 13. Del City High School Lady Eagles Basketball team played in the State Basketball Tournament in Catoosa, OK, on March 7-9, Expenses to be paid from School Activity Funds, Project Code 865-Del City Activity. Confirmation 14. Kathy Dunn and Johnny Thompson, Administration, to attend the Building Expertise 2013: 2 nd Annual International Marzano Conference for Teacher & Leadership Evaluation in Orlando, FL, on June 18-22, Expenses to be paid from Title IA, Project Code 511 and Elementary Instruction, Project Code 048. 6 XI. XII. Vote to approve or not approve bids and requests to purchase: Ms. Medcalf A. Renewal of Imagine Learning English Program used to help struggling readers in grades Pre-K through 2 nd grade. Total cost for 150 licenses for 150 Indian Education students is $22, to be paid from Indian Education, Project Code 561. B. Purchase of one ipad cart and 30 ipads from Apple Computer. The ipads will be used in classroom instruction and assessment to integrate technology into teaching and learning and to engage students in active research to solve relevant problems in both the instructional day and after-school programs at Steed Elementary. The total cost is $16, to be paid from Bond Fund 33, Project Code 013. C. Purchase of 60 high-end computers and software for Carl Albert High School and Carl Albert Middle School Project Lead the Way (Project 1177) from ACE Network Consulting in the amount of $98, to be paid from General Fund, Project Code 772. Discussion of compliance with the Children s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) as a requirement for E-Rate applicants. Ms. Medcalf XIII. Vote to approve or not approve the Budget Amendment #4 for Fund 22 (Child Nutrition Fund) increase $250, and Fund 23 (Tech Center Building Fund) increase $500, Ms. Medcalf XIV. Vote to approve or not approve the Sanctioning of the Midwest City High School Band with conditions. Ms. Medcalf XV. Vote to approve or not approve the MDTC Air Depot Entrance/Paving Project from Connelly Paving Company in the amount of $651, and architect fees of $45, to WPM Design Group, Inc., for a total cost of $697, A preliminary payment of $21, to WPM Design Group, Inc., which was Board approved on May 14, 2012, has already been paid leaving a balance of $24, Expenses are to be paid from Bond Fund 33 and Mid-Del Technology Center Building Fund 23. Mr. Allen XVI. Vote to approve or not approve expenditures to CSI (Consulting Services, Inc.) for the TIP Project in the amount of $35, for training delivery, classroom supplies and curriculum. These monies will be reimbursed through the Oklahoma Department of Career Technology s TIP Program. Mr. Allen XVII. Vote to approve or not approve revisions of Policy F-2, Use of School Facilities. Dr. Twidwell XVIII. Vote to approve or not approve revisions to Policy D-5, Purchasing and Procurement. Ms. Medcalf XIX. Vote to approve or not approve Child Nutrition s Procurement Plan. Mr. Ponce 6

7 XX. Vote to approve or not approve the Contract for Jeanne Millican to provide school psychological services to the Midwest City-Del City School District for the school year. The initial cost was estimated for $9, Ms. Millican s continued services are needed to maintain services for Mid-Del students. The estimated cost for this contract should not exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) for the school year; to be funded from Special Services Flow Through Fund, Project Code 621. Mr. Hinton XXI. Human Resources A. Vote to approve or not approve all actions recommended in the Human Resources Reports: Mr. Mendenhall 1. Certified 2. Non-Certified 3. Child Nutrition 4. Transportation B. Vote to approve or not approve inclement weather day(s) for support employees as defined in the Negotiated Agreement. Mr. Mendenhall XXII.
