Summary Total 18+ years of Competitive work experience in Structural Steel/PEB on various life cycle projects and has ability to work on various standards. Employment History 1) M+W GROUP HIGHTECH PROJECTS INDIA PVT. LTD Joined as Detailing Manager and promoted as Project Manager. From Feb 2013 Present. Reporting to VP. Attending Weekly scheduled meeting with Top management. Communicating and Motivating the down line people to reach the current day target. Attending the Client Meetings for open discussion related to project. Conducting Weekly meetings with Sub contractors to clarify their queries. Site visit includes resolving problems raised by erection engineers at site condition. Raising VO other than Tender Quantity to the Client. Checking the VO raised by the subcontractor by comparing RFI register and BOM, which will be submitted by the Sub contractor. As a single point contact person (as a coordinator) for our engineering to Client and Subcontractors, I need to communicate with the Top management and down line people to provide the solutions. Checking the Tekla models for member placement & grids by super imposing of DWG/DXF files as per CSA and contract drawings. Templates and report files creation as per client requirement. Quick decision making to be taken by me to provide solutions and the same time information will be transmitting to top management. RFI and Queries from the Sub contractors will be resolving. Additionally, I am checking vendor models for Profiles, orientation, elevation, dimensions, all type of connection details, erection clearances, member to member clash, and bolt to bolt clash by using Tekla. Checking of all vendor GA plans & elevation drawings to provide the approvals. Checking of weld sizes, weld symbols; pick points of dimension, orientation mark and bill of materials in shop drawings. Checking details and orientation marks in Erection drawings. Modelling the Conventional and PEB buildings as per committed schedule time. Finalizing vendor BOQ by comparing our GFC for weight variation to provide approval for bills claimed by vendor. Committed to achieve quality, schedules & targets. 1

2 : a). Michelin Tyre Projects (Chennai-Phase1 & 2) M+W high-tech projects India P. Ltd has got awarded 6500MT (PhaseI-3500MT, PhaseII-3000MT). I have taken charge as Detailing Manager for Steel Detailing Department(Modelling and checking) of all buildings including Internal and external pipe racks up to execution level with zero error for Phase-I. and I have taken charge as project Manager cum Detailing manager for Phase-II. And resolved all problems at the detailing stage to avoid the member clashes at erection stage. Here M+W has given Sub contract to JSSL Bangalore. I have approved all their GA and Coordinated with their tekla models at building Interface(Junction between buildings with different directional roofs). b). Mondelez Cadbury (Nilgiri projects- TADA). M+W high-tech projects India P. Ltd has got awarded EPC contract for 3500MT. This project consist 11 buildings including crumb tower, Chocolate process plant, Operational spine and Administrative building etc. I have coordinated between engineering department to Sub contractors (Fabricators and erectors) to get the things well up to execution level with zero error. As an approval authority I have checked all vendors (Sub contractors) GA and Connection design calculations with the help of down line people (Designers & Modelers) and it includes their factory visits to clarify their queries related to fabrication. Resolved all problems at the detailing stage and avoided the member clashes at erection stage. c). GlaxoSmithKline (BANGALORE). M+W high-tech projects India P. Ltd has got awarded only Design for 4000MT. This project consist 9 buildings including Production block, Main Office, Ware house, Goods In/Out, Packing building, Energy centre, Welfare centre, WTP, WWTP, Chillers etc. I have Managed CSA department (Civil, Structural and Architectural) to get the things done smoothly to make all submissions to client from 30%, 60% and 100% without any problems with 100% cooperation from designers and Modellers. 2) Metal scope India Private Limited.(Pondicherry) Manager(Drafting) / Project Coordinator, April 2011 Feb I was Reporting to General Manager for day schedule. Coordinating with down line people for current day target. Coordinating with clients for Commitments and queries related to projects. Communicating with Factory men for resolving queries related to fabrication and revised drawings. Site visit includes resolving problems raised by erection engineers at site condition. Checking of member placement & grids by super imposing of DWG/DXF files to the tekla models as per design or contract drawings. Templates and report files creation as per client requirement. Quick and accurate decision to complete the model and project in time without errors. Sending the RFI with Snap shots to concerned departments of the client office to get the required input. 2

Hundai (Chennai-Phase1) The MSIPL has got awarded Phase-1 for the Engineering, Fabrication and erection for 1200 MT. The entire project consist 7 buildings connecting with each other. Every building has different type of profiles based on UK/Indian environment. I have taken charge as Tekla Manager to catch-up 25 member s output (Modellers and detailers) to complete all buildings, and parallel I have modelled for some buildings. Project includes Main buildings, internal pipe racks/ external pipe rack and link bridges for connectivity of building to building and for cable passing provision (Cable trays). These building contains combination of built-up and hot rolled columns with splice joints, Angular bracings, Tie runners with batten plates, trusses, Fascia frames, Mezzanine floors, Jack beams, crane beams, mono rail supporting structures, Permanent and removable plat forms, raised roof opening structures, Pergolas, kickers.etc. 2). Geodesic Techniques(P)Ltd., Bangalore, India. The primary contractor is M/s. L&T. GTIPL have got awarded EPC as Sub contractor. This includes Engineering, Production and Construction). I have taken charge as Team leader with 40 members (Modellers and detailers) to Make Tekla models to prepare GA, shop drawings, bolt list, material list etc. to reach the target of MT. This project is involved different type of buildings connected internally each other with huge capacity of Mega columns 3

4 (60-70MT each column), and gadder beams. I have got promoted as project coordinator to control the system between engineering office to factory to avoid mistakes while fabricating. These buildings consist heavy sections like mega columns, pods, circular columns, sky light frames, trusses, butter fly trusses, curved parapet frames, cross over bridges, stair cases and hand rails. This building has regular connection details like moment connection, shear connections at different levels. 3) Kirby Building Systems (I) Ltd., Hyderabad, India Sr. Modeller, March 2006 April Created steel structural models for PRE ENGINEERING BUILDING (PEB) Industrial, Residential & Commercial complexes structures which includes Column, Beams, Rod and Pipe bracing etc., using Xsteel ver with standard detailing practice. Prepared Approval Drawings & construction Drawings for Anchor Bolt setting plan, sectional drawings, package Drawings(S.S.Doors, D.S.Doors, roof monitors, stair case drawings etc.), crane beam plat forms. Prepared side walls, end walls framing, sheeting elevations, arrangement of (industrial) louvers, framed openings, wall lights and windows. Prepared roof framing, sheeting plans, turbo vents, sky lights and required flashings & trims all around the building. Prepared bill of material as per Kirby standards. Controlled all buildings with phase manager to issue/release fabrication drawings without getting problem from factory and engineering side. And also raised RFI s to the clients and out sourced design departments. Hansen Drives ltd., The project involved detailing of structural members for a multi storied Automobile gears manufacturing building. The entire structure was done with AutoCAD and Xsteel. Very huge complications exist in the form of hipped and valley Beams, header system & EOT cranes, vertical & horizontal beam bracing, column lacing, strut tube connections in different directions at all levels. This led to acquiring of knowledge on seismic resistant moment connections and their intricacies. Renaults-Nissan Automotive ind. Ltd., The project involved modelling & detailing of structural members for a Automobile Cars manufacturing building. The entire structure is modelled in Xsteel. It has more complicated structure for MT with different connections in the form of Mezzanine & Joist Beams, vertical & horizontal pipe bracing for entire building. The project is completely done in multiuser environment in Xsteel, which was helped in completing the project with in short period by taking support from the tekla users.
