I hope to see many of you come out to celebrate with us at our Christmas Party on December 8. The club will be providing all beverages and plenty of Holiday cookies for the party. Please also bring a dessert dish that you would like to share and it should be a great time for all! We will also have our show & tell, an amazing raffle and an auction too. We ll play 5 games of BINGO w/ coin prizes including gold. Our 2017 Glendale Coin Club copper and silver overstrikes have been completed. Our October 22, 2017 annual coin show was also a great success. Although our raffle ticket sales were down slightly, because we saved a bit on expenses this year was the most profitable show for the club in recent years. Feedback from the dealers at our show was mostly positive and the show seemed to be well attended. Thank you to all club members who helped make the show a success. Page 5 As you may already know, our club and the Verdugo Hills Coin Club share many of the same officers and our meetings are somewhat duplicative. Having two monthly club meetings, usually only days apart, has been tough on a few of the club officers, so much so that some had considered resigning from one or both clubs. To avoid losing officers, each club will be temporarily reducing its number of meetings to seven next year and the clubs have agreed to coordinate their meeting schedules as listed below. All GCC members are always welcome at VHCC meetings and vice versa. Please be sure to mark your calendars!
