Labels will be provided through schools or in advance of Show Day from any member of the Children s Committee or on Show Day. Entries restricted to one entry per class per child. INTER SCHOOL CHALLENGE Schools wishing to enter are asked to submit a display on any theme of their own choosing and not to exceed 1m x 1m x 1m. Schools are to provide their own staging which can be assembled on Show Day or the day before from 4.15pm. Six items within the display will be judged along with the overall presentation. These are: - Creative/Informative Writing, Year 5/6 - Craftwork, Year 5/6 - Collage, Year 3/4 - Model, not from a kit, Year 3/4 - Handwriting, Year R/1/2 - Painting, Year R/1/2 Kindly sponsored by the Cumberland Building Society who offer a prize fund of 250. The Irving Family kindly donate a Perpetual Trophy to the winning School in remembrance of their father Edwin, long standing Chairman and supporter of the Show. INDUSTRIAL SECTION All entries to be staged by 9.45am prompt. All exhibits to be the work of the Exhibitor and not having won previously at this show. Entries 25p. 4th prize of 1.00 where 7 or more entries forward or as stated. No prize shall be awarded unless pronounced to be of sufficient merit. No exhibit can be exhibited for more than one of the Society s Premiums (Special Prizes excepted). Exhibits will be accepted by post but must be collected from the tent by the exhibitor. The Public will be asked to leave the tent at 4.15pm. All Goods are to be removed from the tent from 4.30pm. Exhibits not collected by 5.00pm are left at owner s risk.
