Prizes (all classes) 1 st 50p, 2 nd 30p, 3 rd 20p Important Entries must be received by the Secretary no later than Wednesday 18 th July (by post, hand delivery, phone or ) Car Parking For staging purposes, car parking facilities will be available on the Showground until 9.30am on Show Day. Please follow the directions. An admission charge may be applied to drivers plus any passengers for which a ticket system will operate. Any charge will be refunded to all concerned at the gate when leaving the Showground before 9.45am. Friday staging no admission charge

7 RECIPIES SEMI-RICH FRUIT CAKE 7 cake tin 8oz. (220gm) Self-Raising Flour 4oz. (110gm) Margarine 4oz. (110gm) Caster Sugar 2 Beaten Eggs 8oz. (220gm) Dried Mixed Fruit 3-4 tablespoon Milk 1 tsp. Vanilla Essence Creaming method Oven 350 F, 170 C or Gas mark 5 for 1 hour 15 mins. - 1 hour 30 mins. HEAVY CAKE 6oz. (180gm) Plain Flour 1½oz (45gm) Castor Sugar 3oz (90gm) Currants 3oz (90gm) Lard ¼ tsp Salt Peel (if liked) CHIPPLE PIE Shortcrust pastry Chipples (greens and whites of young shallots or spring onions) chopped 1 cup cooked bacon- diced Eggs Season to taste Line pie dish with pastry, fill (eggs may be beaten or left whole - allow 1 egg per serving) and cover with pastry. Bake in a moderate oven for mins. SAVOURY TEA LOAF 12oz (350gm) Self-Raising flour 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) salt pinch of cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) dry mustard 3oz (75gm) butter 3oz (75gm) grated cheese 2oz (50gm) walnuts - chopped 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) dried mixed herbs 1 egg - beaten 1/2pt (300ml) milk Topping; 1oz (25gm) grated cheese 1oz (25gm) walnuts - chopped Set oven at 350 F, 180 C or Mark 4. Sift flour, salt, pepper and mustard into a bowl. Rub in butter. Add cheese walnuts, herbs, egg and milk. Turn into 2 greased and base lined 1lb loaf tins (only one loaf required for the show bench). Level surface. Scatter cheese and walnut topping over loaf and bake in centre of oven for 1hr - 1hr 15mins

8 Rules 1. Exhibits may be staged on the evening prior to the show from pm. All exhibits must be staged by 9.30am sharp on the day of the show. 2. Judging will commence at 9.45am sharp. 3. Exhibits may not be removed from the tent until after prize giving. 4. Exhibitors are requested to send in their entries at the earliest possible moment. Final date for entries, Wednesday 18 th July. 5. The Committee reserves the right to cancel any class and to exclude any exhibit not considered fit for exhibition. The judges decision will be final 6. The Committee will not be responsible for any physical accident, no matter how caused. 7. Exhibitors will not be permitted in the tent during judging, a whistle will be blown at 9.30am when exhibitors or members of the public (other than those who are officials or Judges) must leave the marquee. 8. No exhibit to be handled by the public. 9. The Committee will take every possible care of the exhibits but cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. 10. All entries must be entered on the attached official entry form or by Exhibitors are asked to collect their entries immediately after Prize giving Saturday 21 st July. In the event of any unforeseeable circumstance the Exhibitor is asked to contact the Domestic Secretary at the earliest opportunity. Any exhibit not collected by 5.30pm will be placed for collection outside the marquee. 12. Prize money will be available for collection from the Section Treasurer after Prize Giving. 13. All prize monies not claimed on show day will be put to show funds. 14. Special prizes, cups and trophies will be presented at 4.20pm. 15. All cups to be returned to the Domestic Secretary two weeks before the next show. 16. Exhibits in the Handicraft and Photography sections must not have previously been entered in Camborne Show. 17. Exhibitors may enter a maximum of 2 entries per class, except for the Cookery/Preserves and Junior sections where only 1 entry per class is permitted. See also notes in Adults with Learning Difficulties section Protests All protests must be delivered to the Domestic Secretary no later than 3pm on the day of the show. A deposit of 1 will be required with each protest, which sum will be forfeited if, in the opinion of the Section Committee, such protest is considered to have been without foundation. The decision of the Judges in all cases shall be final, subject to the right of the Section Committee to deal with all protests
